Aren’t these the kinds of places you hate to love? Y’know, places that reek of «quaint»? Heck, this place’s slogan is «The Quaint Little Country Shoppe You Don’t Want to Miss». Man, everything here is just so quaint, down to the rustic sign outside and the old farmhouse appearance of the shop. Cheeseshops like these are what you’d expect to find along the backroads and interstates in Wisconsin. Okay, I’ve never been to Wisconsin, save for making a conenction at the Milwaukee airport. But admit it, you like stopping in places like this. There’s a certain touristy lure to the old quaint cheese shop! But o-my, do they have good cheese here! Beyond Swiss and cheddar, they’ve got seasonal and specialty cheeses. I tasted the garlic cheese. Mmmmm, and yes I love stinky food sometiems. Pass me the industrial strength Scope! Actually, the garlic wasn’t overpowering. I also sampled the horseradish bacon cheddar. Can’t wait to put that on my pastrami sandwich. It’s easy to go nuts in a place like this, but I had to remember there’s only two of us and we didn’t want to overbuy. So we ended up buying 8 slices of the horseradish cheddar, 8 slices of gouda, and 6 slices of the Buffalo hot wing sauce cheddar. B&B also has a deli counter here, but I took a pass having stopped at Donatelli’s the day before. Oh one other thing. They have very short hours here, especially on Friday
