Naples Soap Company

I got money for Christmas to buy some things from Naples soap while I was visiting Florida and was very disappointed to find out they don’t accept 50 or 100 dollar bills. I really think a store that charges almost $ 30 for a body lotion should accept all currency. Make sure you have small bills before you go.

Why do the shampoo and conditioner bars have yellow 5 blue 1 red 33 and 40 if they are advertising all natural products? I’ve heard these color agents are toxic and would like some feedback to the contrary since I purchased a couple before checking out the website. However the workers were nice and good at telling me how awesome every product I picked up was.

First, I was with an older woman who had psoriasis, so she was sold when she saw a product marketed for her skin type. She tried it once and said she liked it so that’s when we walked in.
I have had eczema since I was born and have been back and forth with dermatologist, lotions and creams.
The sales lady gave me very to little information on why this helps my skin type. She threw a sap story about her little son who has both psoriasis and eczema and he lives by the product. If you have had eczema for as long as I have, everyone knows it’s something you eventually grow out of or you have your own methods of how to deal with it. Every skin type is different.
So I grabbed a small moisturizer stick to try it. My friend grabbed a tub of some lotion and immediately the sales associate mentioned a deal… of course. I wasn’t exactly sold on the product but she continued to push for the deal. Even though I said no kindly multiple times. Eventually both the woman I was with and the sales associate pushed for it.
I was visiting from Chicago and as everyone knows it as the Windy City and I grew up in upstate New York with the most brutal winters. So I mentioned my travels to the sales lady and she continued to push the sale telling me all her customers buy it and fly back with it on their carry on. I was thrown off since the container was way more than 3 oz. But she insisted and said if it’s sealed it should be fine, her customers do it all the time.
Basically, I’m upset I bought a pretty large container of body lotion and had to leave it behind at the airport when traveling back up north.
Well I wasted $ 30 dollars on a tub of dub because this lady would not stop.
As for the moisturizer stick, it’s terrible to use on the face for dry skin. It makes it more itchy because of how hard you have to apply it to your skin.
I do not recommend the product for eczema. Just did nothing for me sadly.

Poor return policy — paid too much for a 4.5 oz bar of soap ! After finding a much nicer larger handmade bar for half the price tried to return the next day. Missed the posted sign — should have the policy on the receipt! Overall I don’t do business with companies that have poor customer service! Even make-​up can be returned if customer isn’t satisfied! Would not recommend this company!

I stopped in to check out their products when our day got rained out in Puerta Gorda. There were 2 young ladies working that day. The one behind the cash register was very friendly, greeted me and offered assistance if I need any. The store smelled great (as one can expect from a soap company). Clean display. Soaps are not cheap, $ 7.50−8.50 a bar in general. I was most intrigued by the shampoo & conditioner bars and the loofa soap. I ended up buying a bar of the loofa soap (mango smell) for my friend. Their products are marketed as natural. Their non-​scented items supposedly are good for people who have skin conditions such as eczema & psoriasis.
My personal experience was a great one. And by posting a picture on my Facebook picture noting the store, I was given a small bath salt ball as a gift.
