Jeff Thompson Lawn Service

Like one other reviewer, I have not used his mowing services, but encountered him while he was preparing to mow another person’s lawn. I was parked behind him (with plenty of room for him to get his equipment out) waiting on a school bus which was due in 3 minutes. He wanted me to move so when he mowed, no rocks might hit my car. I explained the bus was due and he got extremely upset and some angry words and threats were exchanged, despite the fact he had the whole lawn to mow and I would be moving on shortly.
An interesting individual.

I can’t say how well Mr. Thompson maintains lawns as he doesn’t service mine. That said I’d like to comment about his attitude and how he presents himself. I’m coming up to a red light, coasting at about 30 – 35 miles per hour and Mr Thompsons truck gets right on my bumper, lays on his horn for a few seconds and flips me a middle finger. I’m not sure what he wanted me to do, speed up so we can both get the the red light faster? Use more fuel and add wear to my tires and breaks because he wants to go nowhere in a hurry? We sat at that red light for about a minute. If his attitude is like this on the road I can only imagine what his customer service his like.

Jeff Thompson Lawn Service doesn’t do much except mow lawns. Nothing fancy, the company doesn’t maintain plants or even fertilize. He suddenly quit coming to mow our lawn so my wife tried contacting him by phone and text message but they were ignored. I managed to get ahold of Mr Thompson by using my cell phone and he promised to show up, but he didn’t. I believe its because I didn’t use a air conditioning service he recommended, so he took it personally and handle the issue like a coward. Avoiding a ladies phone call because you cant cope with a situation does seem like a quite cowardly way to do business.
The a/​c company he referred me too was way overpriced and I also managed to fix the central air myself. I even called the a/​c company and thanked them for their quote but I would not be using them. I figured this was a more adult way of doing business than dodging a client like Mr Thompson did to us.
Maybe he needs a psychiatrist to help him develop coping skills so he doesn’t have to hide from a girl. It probably would help his business too.
