Great cup of fresh coffee and the bacon egg cheese bagel was also very fresh and tasty. No need to seek out the chains support your local businesses.

Adorable little friendly coffee shop with really good coffee! Owner operated and made us our coffee himself. Very quaint but limited choices for food. Some muffins and basic bagel breakfast sandwiches. Recommend this place for any coffee lover!

Did not go here as they say they have no wifi. Went to Mercer’s Coffee instead, very happy we did.

I found this place right after I moved to Punta Gorda and I adore it and the owners. If you want an ultra modern froufrou place like Starbucks then this is not the place for you but I love the homey, comfortable atmosphere here. The baked goods are great and those that have had the sandwiches say they are wonderful. I get there early so haven’t had them yet, but the cinnamon rolls are top rate. The coffee is truly good but I love to sit with a pot of Oolong Tea, a cinnamon roll and read or talk to others. It is a friendly, down to earth coffee shop, so much better than those chain shops.

Beans on 41 is a cozy mom-and-pop coffee shop that is brimming with character and charm. The coffee is custom roasted and tasty enough to keep us refilling our cups. The food menu is small but the Cuban sandwich we shared was crispy and delicious. The owners, Bob and his wife, run the place with equal parts warmth and wisecracks. They have created the kind of place you don’t see too often — a neighborhood coffee shop with plenty of local flavor(literally).

Dropped in for a quick cinnamon /nutmeg americano and a latte. Staff was very friendly and the spice was hand ground. Recommend you check it out if in the area.

Drinks handmade with pride by the owner. Walk in and you are welcomed by patrons even sharing newspapers with you. Actively supports the community and animal welfare. Ask about the parrots.

Still the bomb! Headed to the Bean shortly after arriving for this year’s dip in the pool in FL. Same great drinks, same warm, perfect service. The jury’s in… yes, they can be trusted for a tasty sammie as well. Thanks again Bean friends!

If you are a fan of local coffee shops, it does not more local that this. It is in a strip mall, but that does not diminish its community feeling. The owners are very nice, and you can tell that the«regulars» love them. If they have the homemade scones, please do not buy them as we love them and they are always gone when we show up!

The Bean on 41 felt like Cheers… walked in and while nobody knew me, the owners certainly knew the local crowd which is of the older variety. The store is kitschy, not necessarily coffee-shop feeling in the truest sense when you looked at the collection of memoribilia on the walls, but nonetheless the owners made you feel at home even as a complete stranger. My wife had a chai drink which was warm, flavorful and served in an ample cup. I am the espresso fan and was suitably impressed by the service from the machine, the crema that was achieved and the depth of flavor. They also offer muffins, bagels and bagel sandwiches for breakfast and feature Boar’s Head products for the fillers on their sandwiches at lunchtime. I had«The Gobbler» which was a panini featuring turkey, swiss cheese and I asked them to throw pesto on it and it was quite delicious. Add impossibly ginormous(but not soft) cookies and just a warm, friendly atmosphere, there’s no reason to take in a chain when this place exists to fill the bill. They offer a range of looseleaf teas and flavored coffees for sale by the pound as well.
