Very family friendly restaurant. I like how it’s quick(on most of the days) because I know this place can get pretty crowded in the evening and at night. The artwork on the wall gives the place a great touch and personality, it makes Sellas more welcoming… especially to first timers. They also provide paper and crayons for customers to draw on with the possibility of their drawing being displayed on the wall along with the other drawings. Also, it’s very close to campus, great for students who stay in the dorms nearby. I have a friend who used to work here with the original owners when they were both going to WSU back then. It’s great to know how this started as a family owned restaurant by two brothers and hearing how much it bloomed over the years.

Hasn’t changed in 20 years! I’m in Pullman about 10 – 12 times per year for games and visiting. I try to stop at Sella’s every time. Brings back some good memories of going to school and is fun to enjoy with the family now.

Quick, pleasant service. Calzone was not really hot when served, though. The server gladly took it back to be re-heated. It was better when it came back out.

I tried Sella’s for the first time on a home game evening. The place was packed and there was a lot of team spirit! They did a great job of getting us a table fast and the food was brought very quickly. I loved all of the crayon drawings on the wall!!! The gourmet calzone is epic, with artichokes and pesto. The calzones are the perfect portion size and are a fair price at around $ 10 – 12. It so warm and cozy in Sella’s and the hot calzone was dripping with grease! This is definitely my new favorite spot!

Went there once: my calzone was not thoroughly cooked. Avoid. Unless you enjoy food born illness. I never understand the crowd I see when I drive by. I think it benefits from students with undeveloped palates because the pile of cheese and flavorless sauce in mine was enough to put me off and recommend people avoid it. yuck.

This is our family’s go to place in Pullman. The kids love coloring, and looking at the drawings on the walls. They even eat the salad!(It is iceburg, if that makes a difference) we love the pizza and bread sticks. You wont be served after you sit down, they dont to table service, but they are fun, affordable and fast

The calzones were too greasy but overall it’s a good place.

The calzones pretty good. Consistency is the biggest issue I’ve had. I’ve had great calzones with good flavor. Then, of course, the first time I took my wife there, our calzones were really dry. Now she wonders why I like the place :). Soda in a Mason jar is the ONLY way to do it! The place needs updating, but they figured out a way to have people pretty forgiving about the aesthetics, and that’s to PURPOSEFULLY give it a run-down feel.

I stopped in hoping to get a slice of pizza over lunch. They do not offer slices — whole pizzas only. So I purchased the 9″, which they said was for one person, but I think two«normal» eaters could share this pizza. I ordered a cheese pizza and it was okay. The cheese is really greasy which tells me it is not the best quality of ingredient. The sauce was decent. The crust is more of a pan style and they burnt the crust a bit. Would I go back, yes. Am I going to tell others to go, no. The staff was nice and service was quick, less than 10 minute wait.

Love the calzone! I got the Coug calzone. It was delicious! Cooked just right with plenty of fillings. Usually there is a line when football games are going on but it’s worth the wait! The customers do art work and it’s posted all over the walls in the restaurant. Very creative, funny, and witty to say the least!

This restaurant is hit or miss. Their house salad is delicious, at work we call it crack salad it’s so good. The times I’ve tried their calzones I haven’t been impressed. The calzones often are hard and over baked on the outside while the filling is cool. If they get it right, the calzones are awesome. The biggest problem I have is that their employees are all student based and so they are closed often when the students are gone or closed at seemingly odd times. On occasion, the wait staff has attitude, which again is reflection of their hiring base but thankfully not always so.

The upside is that the calzones are huge… big enough to share, but the pepperoni one I tried was super oily and the amount of cheese was borderline revolting… over an inch thick at it’s thickest. I will give it another try because it was still good! Mine just needed to be more proportionate and other ingredients than cheese and bread. Service was also lacking. I ordered for carry out, and they seemed semi busy but it was pretty unorganized behind the counter.

The food is good. Really salty though. Been there every time I am in town. Service is good. Very popular with the college crowd.

This is a must-try! My team was rushing to the airport after our match against UW, and decided to get it to-go. We ended up waiting an hour because they were so crowded and were making our calzones from scratch. We ended up nearly missing our flight. And you know what? It was 100% worth it. I have never tasted a fresher, plumper calzone in my life. I don’t know how impressed you should be by that statement, given that I had only had one calzone in my life before that point, but bottom line is that calzone melted away all the stress and frustration of rushing to the airport and getting there just before the gate closed. And to do that, I give you 5 stars, Sella’s. Oh and if you are artistic and love Sella’s as much as I do, you should probably draw a picture and post it on their awesome wall of illustrations.

The pizza: not very well made. But I’m admittedly a thin crust person. What I had here was super bready with not much sauce. The breadsticks: people seem to like these. I’m not very impressed with the taste(bland) but they are large. The salad: a mound of iceberg with cheese and croutons. It’s not special or even good but for some reason I like it. The atmosphere: not well lit and greasy. But you can color with the provided crayons and«place mats» which is fun. It does alright in Pullman. In any other town it’d probably be out of business. If you want something that is 70% dough, you’re in the right spot.

Very well made pizza. Not like any other pizza place in Pullman. It is made from fresh ingredients, creamy cheese and has a flavorful sauce. The crust is nice and crunchy and absorbs all the flavors from the toppings. My favorite is the Piesan pizza with a combination of meat and veggies. It is delicious! They top the pizza with some shaved parmesan to add a little extra touch to the already amazing pizza. They also have calzones that are always packed with lots of cheese and taste just as great as the pizzas. What I love about this place is the drawings that fill up all the wall space all around the restaurant. You are given a white disposable place mat when you sit down and a jar of crayons. You are free to draw whatever you would like, just for fun or to enter it into it being placed onto the wall for display. It ranges from little kids drawings to professional drawings. They also have great deals on beers as well as a porch to sit out on in the gorgeous Pullman sun. The pizza is a little pricey compared to the other fast food pizza places in Pullman but that is only because 1. it is worth it 2. they take the time to make the pizza there with fresh ingredients and 3. the pieces are so packed with goodies that one pizza can easily serve as 3 meals.

We found out that this place is a WSU establishment, it was the very first place that we ate at when we moved to Pullman last summer. The pizza and calzones are pretty good, the salads are huge which I like. The best parts of Sella’s are the awesome view and the great atmosphere, lots of school spirit and it’s right down the street from WSU campus.

It had been quite a while since I visited, so I thought maybe it was time to try once more. I chose… poorly. Quality has not improved. I think the calzones have gotten smaller still. They’re hiding that fact by now using smaller plates too. Not only have they reduced the quantity, but like I said previously, the ingredients are pretty bland, including the rubber mushrooms(clearly from a can). Still worse, my filling was mostly cheese and sauce, without much pepperoni, mushroom, or anything else. The crust was overdone, the bottom was burnt, but the inside was doughy and lukewarm. Now that I know nothing has improved in the last couple years, I’m not really sure I see much reason to try again.
