Established in 2009.

Together when, Dr. Michael Leong and Dr. Karsten Lee, classmates from UC Berkeley, met local girl Dr. Carlys Higuchi, born and raised in Pukalani, they decided to open a new office in Upcountry Maui to serve a community that has no local eyecare. Bringing in inventory and lens products never seen on Maui, people have traveled from all corners of the island to come see the difference!

They saved my vacation! A lens popped out of my frame while I was in Hawai’i. I found the address and begged the relative driving the car to take me over to the office before it closed. They fixed the lens, cleaned the glasses and sent me on my way with no charge. Many thanks!

Best optometrists on the island! I’ve been a big fan of their business since they started their practice at Wal-​Mart in Kahului. I could be biased because I’m a UC Berkeley grad and a little biased to support 2 of the optometrists from UC Berkeley’s highest ranked optometry school. I trust them with my eyes! I schedule my annual eye exam with them. I also call when I have sand in my eye from heavy duty body surfing or boogie boarding!
