History

Established in 2002.

Studio Element was founded by Brian Barrus in 2002. After finishing his studies in the BFA Design program at Brigham Young University, Brian was employed at BYU and taught as adjunct faculty in the design department. He then co-​founded a design studio in Salt Lake City which grew to 15 employees.

In 2002 Studio Element was created in Provo, Utah. Element has gone on to win some of the biggest awards in the industry including publication in Print and How magazines and AIGA Best Of Show awards.

Element works with companies of all sizes, both within Utah and nationally.
