If you’re really hungry, this will do the trick. I used to work across the street and would buy food occasionally from them. They have some good things like the scones. The two times I bought tacos I ordered the beef and chicken. They had some strange sauce on them and weren’t tasty or filling. Honestly a bit disappointing. But like I said, the scones and desert rolls are good and they might have other items on the menu that are more worth the money.

I have been craving Rocco’s fish tacos! They are truly amazing! I live about 20 miles away and still make the trip just to taste them! It doesn’t even matter when they are messy because the flavors are awesome. Great job guys!!!

I love this little coupe so much, finishing up school and will be sure to visit Provo again with every intention of grabbing a few fish tacos!

Did a quick stop on way to Salt Lake. Food was just ok. Sure hope the kitchen was cleaner than the bathroom and the floors. Told the woman taking the order there was sauce spilled on the floor and it never got cleaned up. Bathroom was disgusting. Seemed like mostly college guys buying sandwiches. Guess they don’t care.

The tacos were cheap(Taco Twosday is $ 2.50 for two) and tasted pretty good going down, but I don’t feel great afterwards. The shells are fried in oil, and it’s smothered in thousand island dressing. I had 2 fish, pork, and chicken. Fish is breaded cod and was pretty tasty. Pork was sweet — very good. Chicken was okay. I tasted my wife’s beef, and it wasn’t very good. For cheap, unhealthy food, it’s a pretty good spot, but my wife and I said we can’t go back there. I’ll need to live off vegetable juice for a week to undo that damage. Yikes.

Such amazing food! My wife and I came one night looking for some good food and were not disappointed. My wife got fish tacos and I got wings and fries. The fish tacos are to. Die. For. They have an amazing sauce and are just the best! The wings are great as well. They come with great sauce and the fries are delicious. When you go on Taco Tuesday, your tacos are half off, which means fish tacos are a buck! You cannot beat that deal! Check it out and take in the nice atmosphere of Center Street in Provo.

This place is excellent! We haven’t missed a taco Tuesday in months now. Oh, and you have to try their beast fries!

These guys are great! Good, cheap food and the guys who run it hook it up. They’re so fun to talk to and make sure you feel taken care of when you eat here. Perfect stop for quick food when you’re downtown. The fish tacos are way good.

Really nice people, and great food. I was pleasantly surprise with the fries-they were seasoned and so tasty. Pretty good tacos as well.

Been craving Rocco’s ever since I went for the first time! Amazing tacos. Pork was my favorite and the fish taco was actually legit and I don’t even eat fish tacos. I had to get fish tacos cause I made the mistake of going after taco Tuesday and they were depleted of everything. Which is a good sign right! I’m from Southern California originally so it’s great to get some legit taco carts going on in ptown. Also, geat ambience right on center street and cool outside seating. Our friend group is starting a taco Tuesday tradition just because if this place!

Unilocal’s description of 2 stars is «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» and thats exactly how I feel. The tacos weren’t anything special. A little on the expensive side for the size you get($ 1.75−1.99), and they pulled a page out of In-n-Out’s playbook by smothering them in thousand island dressing. Not that it is a bad thing, but just doesn’t provide a true taste of the tacos themselves. I had one of each of the tacos(pork, chicken, beef, fish) and I liked the beef the best, and my wife liked the fish the best. My wife would only go back for the fish, she didn’t like any of the others. The most disappointing thing for me was while we were eating outside the truck, one of the employees(I don’t think it was a manager) leaned out the window of the trailer and cat called a few teenage girls. He said«Hey girls, come buy some tacos from me! Come talk to me!» They were creeped out and ignored him, but that left a bitter taste in my mouth for sure.

Surprisingly delicious wings. Entered a skeptic and left a fan. Have recommended it to several friends and family.

Tacos and fries on a Saturday afternoon were exactly what my hungry husband and I needed. Also, happy hour from 2−4pm every day = $ 0.75 and $ 1.00 delicious tacos. The fries and tacos feature a Creole seasoning that made everything taste just right. Highly recommend this place. We plan on trying the wings next time and coming back for our taco fix soon.

I love this place for several reasons. Location is great. Ambiance is fun. Music preference is tops. Food is amazeballs. Seriously good prices and seriously delicious tacos and wings. Fish tacos are fantastic. However, I must bow in reverence to the wings. I’ve had a lot of wings in my day but nothing comes close to Rocco’s. My mouth is seriously salivating right now just thinking about it. Crunchy when you want it, tender meat, perfectly flavored, great portions(although I could eat two or three times the portion because I love them so much), etc. I can’t hype this place enough. I love it! PS – for winter time foodies, you can eat inside next door!

BEST fish tacos EVER! I’m shocked by the low ratings I’m seeing. Maybe the place has changed management rot something. Seriously, I’m from Southern California. I’ve experienced almost every kind of taco and Mexican food out there. These are some daaaaang good tacos. Plus taco Tuesday makes it ridiculously affordable. The tacos are deep fried, they don’t skimp on the meat which according to me is high quality, plenty of extra veggies etc…, and for those who thought there was too much sauce, just ask for less! The ambiance is amazing. I don’t know if they use Pandora or a playlist but they have the perfect chill music. The outdoor setting is perfect, plenty of seating and perfectly situated on center street. Perfect perfect perfect. I’ve been every Tuesday for the past month. Last time I went my friend and I were asked by several passing couples if we thought they should stop there to eat. We said yes, and all of them thanked us for the good recommendation because they loved it! Rocco’s is my go to taco truck! Try it, you won’t regret it. Get the fish tacos!

Loved the outdoor«taco truck» atmosphere on Center St. My hopes were high. I was excited for a cheap, simple taco that packed flavor. This was not the case. Cheap yes, flavor no. We tried the(ground) beef and pork tacos. I loved the taco shell, so I was still excited. However, the meat was dry and not well seasoned. The bottled ranch or 1000 island dressing on the tacos was a big disappointment. They should be making their own sauce… We ordered a frozen lemonade thinking it would be housemade or a frozen slushy fountain lemonade, but it was the pre-bought container of Country Time Frozen Lemonade. :(These tacos need cilantro, onions, seasonings, and moisture. I suppose if I was a cheap or poor college student I would go here occasionally, but shouldn’t we be spending our money on something of value?

We were driving out of Provo sitting at the light on Center/University when I mentioned I was hungry. Lucky for us I looked to the right and saw the food truck next to Gandolfo’s. I’m a sucker for food trucks so we pulled right in. We didn’t know what to try so we tried a few tacos: Fish — I would only order fish next time. The others were good, but once you’ve tried the fish, you’ll agree it’s the best. Beef — not my favorite but it still has the same delicious sauce on it Chicken — About the same as the beef You certainly won’t get filled up on a couple tacos, so you might want to get some wings too(they looked pretty good so I’ll try them next time). Or just order several tacos. I would probably order 3 – 4 for myself next time.

I hesitate to review new places because I don’t want to turn people off to someplace that has the potential to be great. That being said, I liked this place okay. I didn’t think it was amazing(fish taco was good, wings were meh), but it seemed like a good place to grab a quick bite of interesting food if you’re in downtown Provo. I’d definitely go there again if I was in the area.

PROS: +I’m not even a fan of corn tortillas, but the ones they use on the tacos are really great. The food was fresh and tasted great. +Hot sauce bottles at all the tables! +Service was fantastic(although it isn’t quick) +Fun atmosphere. I love eating outside. +Those scones are way good. Different than all the other ones I’ve ever had. They’re coated in cinnamon and some kind of frosting. CONS: +$ 1.25 for a can of soda is ridiculous. + I really wanted to try the wings, but I was turned off by the price. $ 5.99 for 6 wings isn’t exorbitant, but it’s still too much for me. It’s not really Rocco’s fault – I really haven’t bought wings from any restaurant since I found out you could get an entire 2 lb bag of Tyson ones for like $ 8 at the grocery store. +I kind of wish they had one«big» full-meal type menu item like a burger on the menu. It’s hard to get filled up on those tacos or wings unless you order a bunch of them. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience. We probably wouldn’t drive out of our way to go there as much, but since we live only a few blocks from downtown, we plan to hit it up pretty frequently.

After hearing about the wings at this place from a buddy of mine, I made the journey down to Provo to try them. He claimed they were the best in the state — crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with a perfect-tasting hot sauce. As I’m a huge wings guy and I’m always on the lookout for tasty wings, I set off to Provo to give them a try. Let’s just say I was highly disappointed. First off, the wings were breaded, a la Wingers. I suppose there are people out there that enjoy breaded wings, but I’m not one of them. Second, the wings did not maintain their crispiness. Sure, they started out crisp enough, but within minutes, they were soggy. Personally, I’d rather just bite into a bunch of meat than have to work my way through a layer of breading first. And while I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor of the hot sauce(good spicy/tangy ratio), it was not enough to overtake the breading and eventual sogginess of the wings. We also tried the fish tacos. And although I was a big fan of the shell, the taste(at first), and the price, the 1000 Island-type sauce became a little much for me by the end. I guess for $ 1.50 it’s hard to complain too much, but I’d definitely order my tacos«light on the sauce» the next time around. My wife thought the shell was too greasy for her, but I didn’t have a problem with it. All in all, a good effort with the tacos, but I still find them inferior to most of the taco carts in Salt Lake.
