Lakeside RV and Campground

I am disappointed with the rating that Good Sam gave this park. While walking past some of the extended stay sites it had a trailer park feel. The bathrooms are quite clean, but there is a 2 hour closure for cleaning everyday from 11a-​1p (check out is at 11a). Most of the sites have nice shade, but are very close together, They are long enough that you aren’t (passenger’s side) door-​to-​door with your neighbor, but allow just enough room to walk through between the driver’s sides. The small stream behind the RV Park was swampy and has no access to the walking path on the other side. The volleyball area is unusably small. The pool is located right next to the main road and offers no privacy. There is also a busy airport directly across the street, but we didn’t hear any air traffic overnight. The office staff were polite with me, but were curt and unfriendly with my 16 and 17-​year old kids.

I agree with another reviewer and am disappointed with the rating that Good Sam gave this park. Too many extended stay sites but even though most of the sites have nice shade they are too close together. The river walk was nice and took our dog walking there several times but the river does create mosquitoes and other evening pests. The park is clean and good for an overnight stay. The Provo Airport is across the street but no noise at night. There is a leash law for dogs but one «resident» in particular with small dogs did not have leashed. Came after our dog, other dogs, went into other RV sites and kids riding their bikes. This occurred both times we stayed. Once on our way to Teton and Yellowstone Parks and return trip. Nice large, clean dog area.

This is a beautiful campsite with plenty of trees and grass. The only bad thing is the mosquitoes.

Hier ist es sauber freundlich alles in einem sehr schön. Man hat hier Super wifi unter Bäumen kann man campen. Cable tv ist auch vorhanden.

What a dump, no up keep, pot holes, dusty. They do not enforce any rules so if loud parties and loud music are your thing then this is your place. The sites are on top of each other, gravel, the hook ups are run down and needing repair. We had been coming here for over 10 years, but never again. Hopefully they will sell this place and get some new owners who will put some time and money into it. Your much better off going another miles to Springville and the KOA.

Great place! Fishing right there next to the sites is a stream. Clean and nice staff. Small store with minimal basics. Lots if full time rv tenants on site but we didn’t have any issues. NO ROAD NOISE! Propane and firewood also for sale. Free showers. Definitely recommend.

Bugs, bugs, and more bugs! Reasonable rates, a pool in the summer, and a clean bathroom with showers and the doors lock with a code so only campers can use it.

Situated on Utah Lake, other nearby attractions include the Seven Peaks Water Park, the Timpanogos Cave National Monument, and the Clas Ropes Course right next door.
They have reasonable rates, and a staff that was friendly and helpful even after we called in and modified the arrangements several times. Also, because we made so many changes, we were convinced there was a problem with our bill. But they were courteous explaining that the printout, while confusing, was not what they charged to us. They did this without getting huffy, as I am sure many of you have seen others do.
The RV slots are what you expect. Most with full hookups. They have a few RV sites that they use as tent sites. If you are tenting, I recommend that you avoid those ‘smaller’ sites and opt for the large ones if you can.
There is a small pool, shower facilities, and coin-​op laundry machines, The game room consists of a pool table and a couple ‘classic’ video games. The air conditioning is very good right there by the door to the pool. If you expect to use the internet, this is where you’ll need to come to plug in. The wireless didn’t provide consistent service over the week that we stayed there. You might have better luck.
There is a small sandy play area for the kids with swings, see-​saw, etc. Just make sure that they took care of the underground apiary before you let your kids near it.
When we were there, a couple nights got windy and the cottonwood above us sounded like they were going to come crashing down. The ‘cotton’ covered practically everything.
Oh yeah, don’t forget your bug spray.
