History

Established in 1950.

Founded in 1950 by Jackson B. Howard, we are the oldest and most experienced law firm in Utah County. In 1973, we became Howard, Lewis & Petersen, P.C., and since then have expanded into the premier firm that we are today. Our commitment to justice and bettering the lives of our clients is as much a part of our mission today as it was when our founder first offered services to a growing community. Our attorneys have a number of years of experience and have spent countless hours in negotiation, mediation, and litigation, thereby bringing to you a level of experience unmatched by any other law firm in the area.

When you contact Howard, Lewis & Petersen, P.C., you get an entire team of experienced professionals ready to assist you in finding a solution to your legal issues. Over 75% of our staff has been with us 10 years or more, with several staff members recently celebrating their 30th and 40th years with the firm.
