History

Established in 1992.

Career Step was founded as a medical transcription school and has expanded its course catalog to include education for careers in a variety of healthcare, administrative services, and technology careers. Since it’s founding, Career Step has provided distance learning to thousands of students from all over the United States. In June 1999, Career Step transitioned its programs to entirely-​online career training which improved the learning experience of Career Step students by ensuring they learn from the most up-​to-​date curriculum, instance access to support resources, and a more hands-​on learning experience.
