This is not traditional southern BBQ. From their menu, describing the brisket«innards medium rare». BBQ brisket is not cooked like a steak. We tried a sampler platter and a few sides. Service was nice, too bad the BBQ wasn’t.

TRYIT, YOU’LLLIKEIT! Discovered this for the first time over Labor Day weekend 2015. I loved everything I tried and went back twice in three days. The mac and cheese was to die for as promised. Informative, patient, and cheerful staff. It’s fun to find something a little different in Ptown after all these years. I’ll be back.

Being a vegetarian one of the places I would never think to eat at would be a BBQ joint. Ate there 2 times this trip and loved it. Mac and cheese is delicious and don’t even get me started about the collards. Done perfectly with black Eyed peas. My partner had the deviled eggs. Just leave off the bacon. He said they were perfect. Slaw is also very good and the cornbread too. Grab a cold beer at Aqua and enjoy.

Decided to hit up the food court with a friend and had heard some good things about this new place. Because I am a brisket fiend, I decided to go with their«un-brisket.» This is a BBQ place so don’t expect to get your food right away. It probably took about 20 minutes for ours to come out. Like the other restaurants in the food court, we were able to enjoy a table on the water, which made for a nice dinner backdrop. The food on the other hand was pretty lackluster. Though my friend’s ribs looked pretty tasty, the brisket was very underwhelming. Fat, not tender, and not super flavorful, I was very disappointed with my dish. As I mentioned before, I am a bit of a snob when it comes to brisket, so this did not do it for me. I might try the ribs, as they looked pretty good, but that meal doesn’t have me rushing back.

Don’t miss this hidden gem! Friendly staff and incredible barbecue. Reasonably priced and a nice change from the standard full service and higher priced restaurants in the area. Ribs and brisket were great. Make sure you grab a picnic table and eat up at the Aqua bar on the water where they offer a full service bar along with the view!

terrible ending of my ptown visit! We like the Aqua bar, so when we saw all those reviews posted all over the door we decided to try. the pulled pork sandwich comes with a weird sauce that I really cannot take it, baby back ribs is a total failure with same sugar like sauce all black… I don’t understand why this place has such good reviews, it really doesn’t deserve it, their sauce is really flavorlessly heavy!

I’ve had a lot of BBQ down south but I have to say these guys know their way around a smoker. This has to be some of the best I have ever had. The mac and cheese was excellent with real cheddar cheese and cooked to perfection! The BBQ sauce had a perfect amount of heat and sweet. Also having it on a ciabata roll and not on a soggy hamburger bun made this a great meal. You can’t miss with this place!

Great spot for casual dinner… grab your meal at their kiosk and take it up to the Aqua Bar deck to eat… great view of the water. I had the brisket, corn bread, and Mac & cheese. All were excellent… the Mac & cheese is to DIE for… best ever!

After a long day at the beach and not wanting to leave the house we decided to stay in our sweats and call for take out(ok…so someone had to leave… just not me). The mac & cheese will cure depression, anxiety, scurvy, smallpox, hammer toes, and your diet(no seriously… that good). We ordered that and 2 of the samplers for two… more than enough for four people… even if those four people are monsters. I need to end this review now because it’s 10am and I need to get some mac & cheese to walk around town with.

Great food and very fresh! This place is new inside the aquarium food court. I got the quarter rotisserie chicken with a side of collard green bean salad. Both were very good, however not a decent portion for the value. I paid over $ 10 and was still hungry.

Hooray ! Amazing BBQ in Ptown ! Dont pass this place up. The brisket has amazing flavor if you eat it plain or drown it in their BBQ sauce like i did(because the sauce was great!) The pulled lork sandwhich was tasty(just wish they added a lil more meat to the sandwhich) but not a deal breaker. There mac n cheese was a classic and the bear balls(fried mac n cheese with pulled pork) were just as tasty. Enjoy, fellow tourists !

I was really looking forward to baby back ribs. I took one bit & that’s all I could stand .the bq sauce had so much molasses in it & personally I found the taste horrible. The cole slaw was passable but cut in to huge chunks. The corn bread had way too much jalapeño in it & had a bitter taste to it. We also bought the banana pudding which tasted like banana paste. Very thick & not in a good way(but in too much thicking agent way. Very disappointing

I just had to write to tell folks about this great place in P-Town! I ate there three times during my recent trip to Provincetown. Of everything I tried, I liked the BBQ Baby Back Ribs the best. Fall-of-the-bone meat with a perfect glaze and amazing flavor(unfortunately they are not always available, so get them while you can!). The rotisserie chicken is juicy and tender, and the pulled pork sandwich is perfect as was the brisket. The slaw was great and provided the perfect balance for the zesty sauce. Congratulations to Keith L. and his crew! They should have a very successful season in P-Town!

There are some good BBQ places in Boston, but Two Southern Sissies beats them all. I had no idea what to expect and was blown away by the pulled pork on a fresh roll with a delicious slaw. It was an ample portion and the quality roll doesn’t get soggy like often happens. Most places just use a hamburger bun. Not here. The pork also is not laden down and limp, but flavorful enough to not need tons of extra sauce. This place is a real find. They let me sample a collard green salad which was excellent, too. Everything is fresh, and the owners and even the staff are super freindly(like all of Provincetown). I’ll be back to try more. All of the town is pricey and this is reasonable for what you get.

This is a new place and I hope it does well. I think it’s the only BBQ in town. I got the brisket with beans and greens. It had a little bite to it and was tasty. I asked for a side of sauce which was good. The portion was small and I would have really like to have had more food for the price of the entrée(brisket + bottle water = $ 20.00). While the quality was good it was a bit overpriced for me for a take out place for lunch but then again, it is Provincetown.

One nippy evening four Chinese and an Indian walked into the food court and came back out with two sample platters, deviled eggs, and a complimentary banana pudding plus bottle of water. The food was good, and the sample platter, based on my appetite size, was portioned enough for about 0.95 of me(or 2 normal people). I enjoyed the chicken and pulled pork, but the brisket wasn’t as tender as I’d hoped. The sweet and salty banana pudding was a highlight for me, but a few thought it was too sweet, so to each his own.

Excellent Southern BBQ! We had the Southern Sampler for two which was a fantastic deal for all the delicious food that comes with it… Pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw, BBQ chicken, cheesy jalapeño corn bread, tender brisket with a tangy dipping sauce and black eyed peas with collard greens! And we also ordered the amazing Mac & Cheese! The banana pudding was heavenly! Everything was so tender and delicious, I highly recommend it! The owner Keith and his staff were also so very friendly and hospitable! Go there, you’ll love it!
