The Provincetown Hotel at Gabriel’s

This hotel has to be one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had the chance to enjoy. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm family approach. We even brought our little dog Lexie who enjoyed the hotel also. We were escorted to our room and showed everything we needed to know about it. Also they give you a brief tour of the property which is so beautiful you’ll forget your in Massachusetts. We stayed in the Hope Room which was small and beautiful. They provided us a Pet Bed, Bowl and sheets for the dog so it can sleep on the bed. They also provided dog biscuits and poo bags that we could take with us. The breakfast the next morning was amazing too. Made to order in their beautiful main room. This hotel was something that really made me have faith that there are still nice people in the hospitality business. We will def be coming back to this hotel before the summer is over and may be a new yearly trip as we hope to grow our family so they can all enjoy it.

Awesome, perfect, great — there aren’t enough good words to describe our stay here! We stayed in Arial for 3 nights and were amazed by the helpful friendly staff, thoughtful touches in our room, delicious custom breakfast and perfect location to walk to everything. All of my pet peeves in other hotels were perfect here. There was a nightlight in bathroom, a medicine cabinet to hide all my bathroom stuff, a cool clocks with plugs and USB to charge all my devices near where I want them. Perfect in every way. We will definitely return!

This is most likely the nicest hotel suite I’ve ever checked into. The man at the front desk walked me to my room, which was the Olivia Suite, which included a full kitchen and a large jetted tub with two shower heads. I was corresponding with Elizabeth whom I met the next morning in the breakfast room along with the manager Neil who were very nice. My room had a fireplace and a balcony and a couch that I wanted to take home with me, but they probably would have noticed that. =)
The breakfast was outstanding, consisting of several fruit and yogurt/​parfait options, scrambled eggs cooked differently each day, french toast, canadian bacon, home fries… the list goes on. Everything was great.
One thing, the bed was an extremely firm Tempurpedic and it was difficult to sleep on, but I found a memory foam mattress cover in the closet which helped (I think it was for the sofa bed because it was a queen size and my bed was king). I don’t know if they have another cover for people who don’t like extra firm mattresses, but I didn’t ask…
Overall the attention to detail was incredible and would love to stay here again.

Do not stay here they will not help you with your stuff and you have to make four or five trips a very steep stairs and through the snow if it’s snowing and they will tell you you are an inconvenience because you took 7 hours trip to drive from Ludlow Massachusetts Provincetown Massachusetts which is a 3 hour and 35 minute ride because of the snow storm I kept checking in and letting them know that there was accident and when I was going to arrive and there was no working fireplace and the fridge did not work in the bathroom was not what they said it was there was no jetted tub in 7 jet shower and Elizabeth the owner you can only talk to her by email thought that I was going to tell the other guests in the morning so she had to police remove me and tell me that I was quote on quote not a good fit for the property after I drove 7 hours so now I’m at the curio collection by Hilton the Madison Beach Hotel and it is beautiful and this is where I should have came from the beginning I’ve been here 3 times 3 months and do yourself a favor come here and don’t go there

My husband and I Stayed here over the weekend and it was phenomenal!!! The staff are incredible and really go out of their way to make you feel special! We stayed in the Barbara room and fell in love with it. It was similar to a condo … You could definitely move in and live there! Excellent upscale beachy décor. The 2 person tub was incredible with a steam setting. We felt like we were in our own private spa! The linens pared with the tempurpedic bed made getting up in the morning very difficult, as we were so relaxed! The breakfast was divine as well! In fact we enjoyed ourselves so much that we promptly made 2 more reservations for future getaways! If you feel like being pampered don’t miss this true gem!

Despite the terrible weather we had during our visit to ptown, we really enjoyed our stay at gabriel ‘s. We stayed in Virginia Wolfe room. Our room was available when we arrived early and they had no problem with us checking in early.
Hotel has an excellent location. Great staff, mostly Rod for us (who went above and beyond). We loved the breakfasts and multiple hot and cold options. One minor disappointment with the food was that the home fries on 1^st morning were among the best we had ever had. This was followed up by the 2^nd morning with «home fries «which were actually greasy tater tots which we did not eat. Great to have afternoon coffee or tea, as well as home made cookies. Yummmm!!!
We appreciate the opportunity to borrow umbrellas and movies. Although we didn’t end up watching our movie, it was great to have that option on a rainy day. They also have beach chairs and other stuff that is available for sign out.
A couple of reasons why gabriel ‘s doesn’t get the fifth star: the entrance to our room always smelt musty, which was unpleasant. Also, we had 2 problems with the jacuzzi. The first night that my bf tried to use it, the start button was missing. Rod told us the next day, that just the button cover was missing. .so the following night he stuck his finger in the area and it worked. The unfortunate thing was that he was covered by brown water that came out and left a sand-​like substance all around the tub. Really kinda disgusting. We forgot to mention this in the morning to Rod as we were preoccupied with the horrible weather.
Also, our room was on the noisier side with the church bells starting early in the morning and street traffic from the front of the house.
Overall, we would definitely stay here again, but in a different room which was a bit quieter. Also, kudos to us for checking their website and getting a free art dunes tour which we loved. Don’t forget to check their website under the specials option. Thanks again!

This is one of the Best Inn’s/B&B’s I’ve ever stayed at, and I’ve stayed at many.
The property is immaculate, as are the rooms, each one with a different theme and feel to it — we stayed in both the Virginia Woolf and Agatha Christie rooms. I can’t stress enough how clean, comfy and cozy the rooms are — such a unique Inn to stay at.
The location is also perfect as it’s only a block away from all the restaurants and bars on Commercial Street as well as the Pier. The staff is very helpful, the outdoor communal patio area is beautiful during the day, but even more spectacular at night with all the holiday lights. Great place to enjoy a bottle of wine should you decide to not partake in the craziness on Commercial Street.
The sheets, blankets and towels were exceptionally soft and smelled clean, the toiletries were nice and the rooms were well decorated and appointed. My only slight complaint would be that the bed mattresses were a little too firm. The air conditioned worked perfectly and was quiet.
And, as the property is fairly large, we felt like we had a very private stay, not having to interact with any of the other guests (which can be awkward at times) as you do at other B&B’s.
We didn’t try the breakfast as we loved Devon’s Food Bar so much for brunch, so I can’t comment on that. But I wouldn’t make my recommendation based off of their breakfast anyway, so it doesn’t matter to me.
Overall, I highly, highly recommend this place, and will always try to stay here when I’m in Provincetown.

A fabulous Bed and Breakfast in Provincetown!!! I love it here! Rooms are all themed with kit here’s, fireplaces, beautiful bathrooms, jacuzzi, comfortable beds. The staff is very friendly and accommodating & the gardens and koi pond are beautiful. The breakfast is the best and biggest I have had at any B & B. I highly recommend Gabriel’s to everyone coming to Provincetown!

Very cool hotel in the smack middle of Provincetown. We were greeted by a warm and customer oriented gentleman who guided us to our room and helped us make our experience warm and fuzzy. Our room was on the first floor and was two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and common are with an electric fireplace. Our dog was welcomed with open arms and given wonderful treats to make her stay all that much better.
The morning breakfast was AMAZING. The customer service was unbelievable. The food was spectacular. I felt as though I was the President of the United States himself. Unbelievable treatment by all the staff. A staff member also came by to explain the daily activities in town and helped us identify what restaurants are open year around vs those that are open during the summertime.
If you looking to come to Ptown for five star treatment then this place is for you. Bring your family (ie dog) with you and enjoy all the fanfare the hotel has to offer. When you treat your guests the way they do, you will certainly be back for more. Thank you for a great experience for my boyfrnd and myself. Memorable to say the least!

My husband and I just returned from a long weekend in Provincetown. It was my first experience staying in the Cape (aside from visiting friends in Yarmouth) in the five years I have lived in Boston, so I was undoubtedly very excited to see what all the hype was about.
Aside from the food in Provincetown (which I found deeply disappointing and upsetting) except for Spiritus Pizza (which is just delicious pizza compared to anywhere) and Ceraldi’s in Wellfleet, we had a wonderful time and stay.
Breakfast is included in your stay, and for hearty eaters like my husband and myself, we were more than satisfied. There are fresh baked goods every morning including chocolate or berry croissants, danishes, and muffins. There are foods made to order including waffles/​pancakes, eggs, home fries, and pork flavored meats. There was cream of wheat every morning, which I indulged in, and freshly brewed coffees, juices, and milk (soy, almond, cow). There were also vanilla yogurt parfaits and fresh fruit. In the later morning and afternoon there were freshly baked cookies, hot apple cider (with hard alcohol if you wished to spike it), a wide selection of teas, Keurig coffee, and the canned juices and soy/​almond milk. On our last morning there, we were even treated to live music in the great room during breakfast!
We stayed in Ariel, which was very spacious for the two of us. The kitchenette included a small stove and oven, microwave, refrigerator/​freezer which was more than adequately equipped. I enjoyed the sky lights in the morning, which may bother some guests if they awake easily with ambient light.
I had a great time – the Cape is just not my jam.

I have been trying to find the words to express just how amazing this place is. My boyfriend and I chose this as our place to stay during our anniversary and we couldn’t be happier! We stayed in the Virginia Wolf suite. The room was just what we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the fireplace was much needed and so romantic. Warning: The fireplace makes it REALLY hot so if you’re going to sleep with it on you may wake up sweating a little. Everyone was so friendly at Gabriel’s! The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. From arranging reservations to finding a DVD player for us when ours didn’t work, the staff made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay.
THE BREAKFAST. Yes, it gets its own paragraph because it was that damn good. Every day there was some variation on scrambled eggs, a choice of breakfast meat, and a breakfast bread (i.e. waffle, French toast, pancakes). Usually I am not a morning person but my boyfriend and I made sure we were awake and ready for breakfast each morning. This definitely is one of the gems of Gabriel’s. Also, on Sundays they offer a little champagne for your OJ. Nothing can win my heart over like a mimosa!

We enjoyed every minute of our Labor Day weekend stay. Gabriel’s Inn has a friendly accommodating staff. Our room was clean, thoughtfully decorated, and quite comfortable all around. We were in the perfect place to be in Provincetown, literally steps from the center of town, and adjacent to the Pilgrim’s Monument and Cape Cod museum. Directly across the street is the Provincetown Town Hall. Every restaurant, specialty shop, and entertainment is close walking distance.
Breakfast was prepared in house each morning, including made to order specials such as blueberry pancakes straight from the kitchen. An added bonus were the fresh baked pastries and muffins. The appeal of this hotel is everywhere from the casual elegant décor and tasteful furnishings to the outdoor seating and lush landscaping. Each staff person we encountered treated us attentively with sincere interest in making our stay comfortable and memorable. We have visited P-​Town before and stayed at other hotels, but this is the one to which we will return. That’s one decision that’s a no-​brainer for our next visit. In fact, we enjoyed our stay so much, we are looking for reasons to return sooner than later. Why wait until next year? We’ll probably be back again before year’s end. It’s much more fun exploring Provincetown when you have a comfortable, friendly place to stay.

My bf and I were looking for a few days to relax on the cape. After quite a bit of research he decided on Provincetown and a bed and breakfast at Gabriel’s. We had never been to a bed and breakfast before so we weren’t quite sure what to expect. I was thrilled with our experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean, cozy and better yet equipped with a jacuzzi tub! Gabriel’s is very close to all of the Provincetown action so it was only a matter of a few minutes before we were right into the action. I loved waking up to a made to order breakfast that we were able to enjoy in the calming and peaceful garden area patio. Gabriel’s and Provincetown have my heart and I will definitely be back!

My husband and I decided to take a nice weekend trip to relax. We choose the perfect place to do so. It was clean and I liked the décor. The owners introduced themselves and treated us like family. Great customer services/​. The breakfast in the morning was something we looked forward to. This place was all in all a perfect experience. We Loved it!

Gabriel’s sets the standard for great service and beautiful rooms. LOVE the spa bathtub in the room.

I am a big fan of this place after my stay summer of 2014 in which 3 friends and I slept in 2 rooms of their cheapest rooms: Virginia Wolfe and Katharine Hepburn.
Highlights:
*Clean — like, really clean.
*Breakfast is beyond incredible
*We could lounge in their garden all day (and night) long
*Perfect location (near town, the town beach, great restaurants — highly recommend The Pointe Restaurant for dinner)
*Super accomodating — had beach chairs and umbrellas for us and a little goody bag with waters and chips the day we checked out. Also an ice machine good for your cooler for the beach.
The only reason I nocked it down to 4 out of 5 stars is that the rooms were a little smelly. Not sure how to describe it. My friends thought it smelled like dog pee, but i thought it was just a musty smell. We all got over it and really enjoyed the weekend. I tried to book a return trip for later this summer but they were sold out.

Location: We came during the Portuguese festival and we were right next to where everything was happening and we could barely hear the noise.
Service: Kay is just fantastic. She’s helpful, courteous and friendly. She took our items and dog and put it in our room for us because we had to leave for an Outer Cape Sail trip. We couldn’t wait for our room to be ready.
Room: Beautiful decoration, well maintained and immaculate. We loved the toiletries. We had our own room A/​C, but the lobby has central A/​C. It had super soft sheets.
Food: We had breakfast every day in their dinning room. Kirk is the cook. He is very friendly (of course, he’s from Jamaica) and passionate about food. He made a delicious blueberry/​coconut pancake and the next day breakfast sausage with peppers (all colors), plantains and cauliflower. Delicious!

Our 2^nd stay here. Amazing pet friendly B&B. My birthday get away w/​the hubby & pups. Not much excitement in Ptown in March but it’s just what I needed.
Stayed in the Colette. Nice studio w/​comfortable temperpedic bed, sitting TV area and kitchenette w/​kurig coffee maker, Quiet & private.
Only down side is the parking, hasn’t stopped us from coming back and staying here off season it’s not so big of an issue. The Inn is centrally located so once the car is parked you really won’t need it again.
Nice breakfasts made to order for courteous staff.

I picked this place kind of last minute, just from their website. I was looking for something in Provincetown that was dog-​friendly. I really lucked out. Even with reasonable expectations (their website does a good job showing the rooms, etc.), it was BEYOND. So lovely.
We arrived in the evening and just walking up through their garden courtyard kind of set the tone for the whole experience of being there — lights in the trees and along the walkways and patios. Really special, and kind of tucked away off the main street like a little secret garden. Also — location, location location. Provincetown is a very walkable place anyway, but this really is RIGHT there in the middle and everything is walking distance.
The rate is affordable. We chose a suite because there were three of us and it was cozy, lovely and a perfect size. The fireplace was great, seeing that we were there in November, it was really nice to have. The beds were temperpedic and super comfortable. They even had a little dog bed, bowls and treats in the room for our pup! Super cute.
Also… the breakfast was phenomenal. Good coffee and tea, muffins, fruit, yogurt, granola — alternatives to dairy (soy and almond milk), and special hot breakfasts made to order, omlettes, waffles and pancakes were offered when we were there.
I really cant say enough good things about this place. It was a special weekend and we will be back for a stay in the Spring!
