A fabulous, cozy, no-​frills, salt-​of-​the earth guesthouse. Steps from shopping, food, beach… situated on the western end of town. Continental breakfast available in the mornings as is GOOD coffee.
Austin is a treasure, a convivial and helpful innkeeper who will make your stay easy and comfortable.

I had the pleasure of staying with Austin and Noah over the weekend of the Fourth of July and it was absolutely amazing. Booking my trip last minute, Austin was patient and helpful in helping me with accommodations. The relaxed and caring atmosphere along with the caring staff and great location are the reasons I will be returning to Rose & Crown.

We had a wonderful Saturday night stay here! The location was perfect — we were able to watch the parade from our own courtyard table. The Tea Dance was right across the street, and all shops and restaurants were an easy walking distance, all right on the main drag. Austin was a pleasure to work with over the phone, and Ann and Noah were delightful as well. The Rose and Crown is definitely a place we would return to. Thank you so much!

My g/​f (jackie) and I have been staying (last 4 years) at the Rose & Crown and honestly we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. You can’t beat the location but more importantly, you can’t beat the hospitality from the people who own and run the Rose & Crown. We look forward to sitting in the front yard patio and visiting with «the girls» Teresa and Fran every year. And, because we go to Ptown the same weekend every year, we also became friends with the other guest who stay the same weekend we do !! It’s like a mini reunion every year ! The location is A+, we always stay in the same room and it is always clean and well maintained. I love the feel of this place. the Rose & Crown has great atmosphere and feels like home !

Been staying with Ann and Laura for years now at the Rose and Crown. You can not ask for a better location. It’s right across the street from the Boatslip. If you want totally modern and updated, this may not work for you. The reason to stay here is the great atmosphere the owners have created. Very laid back, fun and feels like one big crazy family. Plus you are across the street from tea dance. I can’t recommend this place enough

It’s like camping with a roof! If you want the historical feel, without too many frills, it’s totally awesome. People that work there are great. Super cheap if budget is an issue, and location is #1.
