I used to love Wings & Things. During finals, I would order over 2lbs of popcorn shrimp daily. On the most recent occasion, I ordered from a man that I had never ordered from before. In placing my order, I gave the man my credit card number twice(he didn’t hear me the first time). After getting my order delivered, I received an angry, abrasive phone call from the same man that I spoke to over the phone. He insisted that I did not pay, and he demanded that I give my credit card number again. I offered to give it to him, but he continued to yell at me. Long story short: after two screaming voicemails, the man brought the police to my house. The customer service is utter SHIT and I will never, never, NEVER be ordering from Wings & Things again. For people who are in restaurant service, this man was disrespectful, rude and demanding. If you value your humanity, do not go to Wings & Things because this man will make you feel degraded.

Not a fan. The boneless wings are just chunks of chicken drenched in sauce. The service was decent and the people were nice, but for what I paid I was totally not impressed. I’m sticking to Wings Over Providence.

Service is nothing to write home about and they close early and their hours occasionally vary without notice. However, they do deliver and their wings are pretty decent considering the price(about $ 10 – 11 for 15 wings). You get free dressing with your order and some baby carrots(always appreciated). I think their fries are very overrated and are way too salty. However, if you like them, their combos(which include x number of wings, a drink and fries) are a good value.

Wings were too saucy and not enough drumsticks, the king of the wing. They charge for a small extra cup of sauce and won’t do half-and-half(ie, half one type of sauce, half other type of sauce) on a 20 wing order. Woman who answered the phone was very unpleasant. Cheese fries were swimming in Velveeta style cheese. Delivery came very fast, which was good. Also, my total cholesterol level was raised for no extra charge.

They put all the sauces on the side without asking, and starting shutting down the restaurant around us. Okay then, aside from the sauces tasting like butter with a splash of Louisiana hot sauce, I guess the wings were at least cooked. Wings Over Providence is a better option.

They rushed us and told us we only have 10 min to eat cause ther wer going to close… so we had to take it to go. The cheesy fries. They drenched it in cheese. I thought they would put it On The side. Soggy fries. And the lemon peper wings wer not IT. The buffalo garlic wer good

Called tonight to place an order for 2lbs of Boneless chunk and 10 wings, sauce on the side. Roughly 30+ dollars in wings, plus 3 sandwiches for a few friends that were stopping by tonight to catch up. I was told that the two pounds of boneless wings comes with a large order of sauce, plus a medium size sauce and a small sauce for the wings. I asked if instead of just the large, medium and small sauce would they mind providing us with 6 small sauces so our guests would be able to have some variety. Well, this set off a fire storm like you couldn’t imagine with the OWNER screaming at me in the phone saying, «NO!» followed by an entire rant about college kids wanting everything for nothing then my favorite statement of the night, «I’m in this business to make money!» I reminded him that I am not a college kid nor am I trying to get something for nothing and that we were trying to help his business with our 50.00 order. In fact, 6 small sauces is actually less sauce then the large, medium and small they were going to give us. None the less, he screamed at me for literally 3 additional minutes before HANGINGUPON me as I tried to explain once again that we were not asking for more, but rather less with more variety. We were shocked at his rudeness and lack of professionalism. Definitely will not be back to this restaurant anytime soon.

I am a true believer in nasty food like this making you feel better on a bad day and Wings n’ Things is my go to for just that! Well, and for party style food fun with friends as well… of course! There are many things I love about Wings n’ Things. The first thing being, the owners are ALWAYS working! I have a massive amount of respect for owners that work their kitchen and front-end. They automatically get more business from me due to this fact. In addition, they are NICE people! What else do I love? The food! OMG crispy salted fatties, fatty salted crispies? Needless to say this place is not meant for your diet but everyone needs a cheat here and there — this is American… My absolute favorite item to get is an order of Cajun Cheese Fries. The crimped fries are dusted with this spicy and zesty rub that goes so well with their blended nacho style cheese. It’s orgasmic, you can’t have any, it’s my dish and I’m going to tell Joan if you order it to remind you that, if it weren’t for me, you’d still be eating ketchup and plain fries. Well — you’re welcome! The wings and boneless chunks are very good. I have some staple flavors I like to stick with. The Buffalo Garlic is the most mild of the buffalo’s, I believe, but has the most flavor. The hot is my limit, beyond that it just becomes a competition of who can chug milk faster. My favorite flavor is the Jamaican Jerk. It’s that perfect blend of savory, spicy and sweet you hope for. I don’t find a drastic difference between the boneless or the wings but obviously wings would have more flavor. The burgers are good, the specials are a great value and overall the place is great. They do, on occasion, forget my cheese sauce(I get it on the side) which sends me in a violent fit of gluttoness rage but other than that their service is on point. I have had Wings Over Providence as well and prefer Wings n’ Things. You’ll understand… Enjoy!

Really good wings. Wings were meaty and not puny. They have 25 different sauces. We ordered hot(but goes up to Atomic). The mozzarella sticks were just ok and they only gave a few small carrot sticks with the wings(what no celery?) but the lady at the counter was friendly. Had a craving for wings while staying in Providence for the night and was not disappointed. They also deliver!

After a long search around Providence for wings I have settled on Wings and Things. I have not had much of their menu but I have had several varieties of their wings and their chili cheese fries. In chili cheese form their fries are fantastic. Their wings are the best around as far as I am concerned. Don’t bother with their ancillary dishes. I have heard some are good and some are not. Just get wings. I haven’t had a bad flavor yet. Where they really shine is with their hot, X-hot, scorching range of wings. They are amazing and right in the range of hot being pretty standard wing spicy and scorching being at the high end of normal. If you want to go blistering or atomic be ready. They are not messing around. I also can recommend all of their BBQ wings, buffalo garlic, and General Tsao wings as a change of pace.

Honestly it wasnt as good as i hoped. Prices were standard. Service was friendly and food came fast. I asked for a menu and was told they didnt have any, sometimes i like having a menu, especially when several people will be ordering. I got a bourbon steak sandwich, sounded yummy but its just a shaved steak like subway might make with some bourbon bbq sauce on it. It wouldve been better if the meat got cooked with the sauce and it got carmelized. I also got boneless wings that were a bit on the overcooked side and even though i dont want an overbreaded order of chicken, these needed more. I expected some nice crispy boneless wings and it was more like chunks of chicken with some sauce. Not crispy, not very juicy. I would try them again, maybe get some regular wings, but i wont go out of my way to drive there. They have delivery which might be convienent. 3 stars overall. Food probably only a 2 and sevice a 4.

Three words: They. Deliver. Wings. The first time I tried this place out I was hankering a hamburger and wings on a horrible rainy day, so I decided to order for delivery. I have absolutely no complaints about the delivery time, and the food was still hot when it arrived. And everything was also DELICIOUS. I will definitely order from W&T again!

I’ve been a customer of Wings & Things since they were located in Riverside. Unfortunately I’m not in Providence as much, so I don’t get to enjoy their food as often. Wings & Things is one of the few restaurants in Rhode Island that actually knows how to make hot wings. The chicken is meaty and un-breaded, and they have a rather large selection of sauces. I recommend the atomic. The fries are also excellent. I haven’t really tried anything else on the menu, as hot wings are basically my favorite food and I’m never really inclined to deviate from that option when such great wings are available. But someday I will try their chili.

After my go-to wing joint closed, I was in search of a replacement establishment that could deliver in similar quality, price, and flavor. Though I’ll never find a true substitute for my favorite type of wing, Wings & Things does an excellent job satisfying my taste buds and satiating my wing cravings. Wings & Things boasts several different order sizes across 20 varying sauces, including: – Mild, Medium, Hot, X-Hot, Scorching, Blistering, Atomic, Cajun, Buffalo Garlic, Golden Garlic, Teriyaki, Sweet & Sour, Honey Mustard, Lemon Pepper, Caribbean Jerk, Jamaican Jerk, and BBQ Sauces(Original, Classic, Smokey, Sweet & Bold) – Though I’m usually only ordering five or so to accompany my main dinner, they are certainly able to provide when large numbers are needed. Around Superbowl time, pre-orders are taken and filled with efficiency. In addition to their wings, some other«things» on their menu are definitely worth ordering. I really enjoy their sandwiches, carefully constructed with fresh ingredients. I am partial to the Turkey and Cheese Sandwich. The turkey is thickly sliced and is far from the limp, fatty, and often times stringy deli versions you find at many hole-in-the-wall sub shops. The lettuce and pickles snap crisply with each bite, the bread soft but sturdy enough to contain the ingredients. Another delectable item from their menu are the seasoned fries(that is.. . when they get the order right.. . unfortunately, I’ve ordered these so many times and gotten home to find plain potatoes in my carton its hard for me to believe its simply a coincidence). Overall, Wings & Things is a convenient and tasty option when one is in need of wings for those necessary occasions(like football, cookouts, etc.) or when you’re too lazy to cook and want a simple but quality meal.

I was excited to go to «Wings & Things» considering I was CRAVING the grosses and non healthy thing you can find. When I got there no one was there(which wasn’t a great sign) but still I ordered. 1. My boyfriend was craving a burger so he orders what he usually does, a BBQ burger. First bite he basically spit it out. He said it tasted like it just came out of the freezer and thrown on a grill that hasn’t been cleaned in months. The toppings are the only thing that saved the burger but thats nothing to RAVE about either. 2. I order a 10 piece HOT wings. I have to say they weren’t that bad, except that they came from malnutrition chickens. Very tiny and not meaty at all. The sauce was good-it was hot sauce. I would order here again when I’m totally under the influence of some substance. But not worth my time to go back.

I spent six years at Brown, during most of which I had to venture all the way down to Wings To Go for good wings and fries. Then after I moved, they closed and Wings & Things opened a block and a half from where I used to work.(What took you so long?) Anyway, it’s a great location with good wings at good prices… I should note that I like wings more for the meat than the sauce or spice, and the mild works for me. But more notably, the seasoned fries(make sure you ask for them seasoned) may possibly be my favorite fries from anywhere ever. Just the right taste and crunch. Half the times I’ve gone, it’s because I’m craving the fries.

Now I don’t know if they’re the best wings out there but they’re the best I’ve had. I get their boneless chicken chunks all the time and their cheese fries are the best I’ve ever had. I only have two complaints about the place and they aren’t much but they take away one star. First, they put too much sauce on the wings and chunks and it makes dipping problematic and you’re talking to a man who loves his bleu cheese. Second, the cheese fries are lazily put together. They put in fries and cover them in sauce and thats it. So the top fries are overloaded in cheese and the bottom are cheeseless. I mix them every time.

The wings are average… not too meaty… I like the fact Wings and Things has a medium sauce… just perfect for my palate — Also, they put alot of sauce on the wings and extra — unlike wings over providence. … The Chili cheese french fries are pretty good — The rajan cajun burger is large and tasty — not dry — 4.99 The Southwestern Egg Rolls were quite good… The prices are fair…20 wings for 11 dollars… This place would be perfect if it made a Portuguese Linguica sausage sandwich… Delivery is super fast – They accept paypal secure cards…

Madeleine’s Thoughts So I currently live like, just over a block away from this restaurant and I thought I might as well be lazy and get dinner there one night when I didn’t feel like walking down Thayer St. In what used to be a Laundromat just last year, Wings & Things certainly has a good selection of wings as well as things, but the quality is a little shaky. I decided to get a macaroni salad and the Rajun Cajun burger. See now, I love cold pasta salads. If I could, I would marry them. Anyways the burger was okay, I’d give it 2, maybe 3 stars. The macaroni salad was just gross. I took one bite of a ¼lb container and threw the whole thing out. I don’t recommend it. I guess I might return to try their wings, considering it IS supposedly known for its«wings» over it’s «things.» All I know is macaroni will never be the same to me again. We will be taking things slow from now on. One bad macaroni experience and I’m turned off for life… Maybe it’s time to start seeing Potato salad again…
