The Gallery Salon

The Gallery Salon has become the salon that I’m going to stick with! I used to go to Hairspray, but then they closed :-(. The Gallery Salon was recommended to me by someone who used to also go to Hairspray and she told me this place was great, and that I had to see Sara Marsh. So glad I took her advice!
Sara is so great, she’s a true artist with hair, as well as a great conversationalist! I love it when a stylist can gab, I’ve had some in the past that don’t say much and it’s totally awkward. Not with Sara — I felt like we hit it off like old friends my first time seeing her. She’s so good at listening and doing what you ask while also doing what’s best for your hair. She also is great at giving advice and tips when it comes to styling and products to use.
I have the worst hair — naturally curly, baby fine, flat on top, dry on the bottom and just lays there like a mop most days. As soon as she’s done with my hair, I feel like flipping my hair around like I’m in a shampoo commercial or something. I also have to make sure I go out right aftr so show off how good I look, lol.
I definitely recommend The Gallery Salon! Great friendly atmosphere and very nice space!

I had my hair highlighted and cut by Justin last night, my hair has never looked better!!!
He used a technique called Flamboyage… and foils… the highlights look sun kissed and so natural… the cut and style is exactly what I asked for!!!

Sara M. has cut my hair several times and it’s been the best experience. My hair never looks over straightened or too «done». It’s always natural and beutiful. She really takes her time and truly cares about making me happy. Recently, I decided to let Sara take over for my color. I am a red head, and a tricky one at that, but I trusted her. She prepared for weeks with emails and photos going back and forth. She was really went the extra mile! It turned out beautiful! I’m really happy with her! The salon is beautiful, as well!

I feel like I have to resist the urge to yell this every time I leave Gallery Salon. I’ve been seeing Sara M. there for cut and color for several years now. Sara helps me achieve my blonde ambitions without bleaching, and my hair is about a billion times healthier as a result! She does a great job with my cut and layers, too, and does one heck of a blowout.
The salon is stylish looking, and the color scheme very relaxing. It has 4 haircutting stations separated by mirrors and sheer curtains, and a nice little side room with two sinks for shampooing with comfy chairs that support your neck. There is also a room for getting one’s nails did (as they say). I’ve only been there to see Sara, but everyone else who works there is perfectly pleasant!
I love coming in for my appointments here – great conversation while Miss Sara works on my hair, and I get a nice cup of coffee or tea and a stack of gossipy magazines to thumb through while my color processes. Sara gives lots of care and individual attention to her clients, and I never feel like our appointments are rushed. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to Sara Marsh at The Gallery Salon for the last two years, and she gives me gorgeous haircuts. I even had a makeup artist in NYC ask me where I’d gotten it done! (She was sad to hear the salon wasn’t in New York!)
My hair can be a bit of a pain, because it’s fine but thick; Sara knows how to make it look stylish and sleek but still playful. Even though I moved to Brooklyn in Sept, I visit Sara every time I’m in Providence so I can keep my hair looking amazing!
