There’s definitely a deficit in the atmosphere here. Not many people, but the house music and fluorescent colored lighting are an attempt to make up for it. I will say my Kettle and soda had a little edge to it which was nice. All in all, this establishment needs to work on getting more clientele in to set a more inviting tone.

Uncrowded, friendly staff, interesting décor, and most importantly, AMAZING tapas. The drinks are good, although I would like to see more emphasis on custom crafted cocktails as the atmosphere suits it. Something that really stood out was that every person who worked there that night did so as a team, making sure that the four of us had a great experience — you simply do not see this anywhere else. I love this place and will definitely be back… a lot.

This is a nice place and the food was pretty tasty. We went on a Saturday evening and I was a little surprised that there weren’t more people there(about 10 ppl in total). But that was good for us because our waitress was on point. I ordered the buffalo chicken meatball sliders(delicious) and the tomato and mozzarella skewers(equally amazing). For the small portions, they were surprisingly filling. The prices were good for them, I believe $ 5 and $ 6 so I was satisfied with the taste and cost. I also ordered a cosmo(forget the name) and had a feeling it would be expensive since there was no price on the menu(I see what y’all did lol). But after like 3 sips I was feeling it(you know a lil tipsy) so I didn’t even care how much it cost. It was $ 12, that’s NYC prices right there, but it was gooood and strong. Overall I had a pleasant experience here. Nice ambiance, good music, good food and nice staff. I would return. It seems to be pretty underrated and I def think more people should try it out.

This establishment doesn’t value minority business. Have heard them make offensive jokes/comments about African Americans. Very dissapointing. The manager MO is a creep who actively hits on woman. Wouldn’t recommend.

My boyfriend and I went on a Friday night — there were a lot of tables but it was pretty empty except for the bar. We got 6 tapas between the two of us. The best were definitely the buffalo chicken sliders and the labne and cucumber bites. The grape leaves were good but I’ve had better and the middle eastern roll up was average. My boyfriend’s cocktail was really good. The servers were nice as well. Overall a good experience.

Came here bc my friend was raving about the food and wow she was right! We sat at the bar as there was a paint nite there which we hadn’t expected. The inside is so pretty and the bar stools are ridiculously comfortable. We had a few martinis, I wasn’t sure which one I wanted so the bartender offered to just make one for me, I liked how she offered that right away and it was great! I also got the expresso martini that I loved. Now for the food! They have a tapas menu for only around $ 4 each so you can try numerous plates and not spend a fortune. We each got a plate of the cucumber hummus which is sliced cucumbers with hummus and shaved baked pita chips on top. This was so good! We shared the Caesar salad which I thought would be hard to do but this place is all over it! They actually individually put the Caesar ingredients into a lettuce wrap that stays together perfectly. The food was delicious I can’t wait to go back and try different tapas.

Awesome atmosphere. Hit or miss when it comes to service. Thursday nights is a NOGO. Fridays is more exciting at least. Food is good but more then a tapas bar… Tiny portions.

I’ve been in providence 3 weeks and I can’t believe I only found this place now ! I’m Israeli and the food here is a fantastic and yummy take on Modern Mediterranean food. The spanakopita and the chicken middle eastern roll up were amazing ! Best part is it’s open and they serve food til late

They try very hard to be a pretentious exclusive bar but they’re not. It’s uncomfortable. Never more than 7 or 8 people there. There’s no reason to check this out. But the worst part is their valets use a handicapped parking spot right in front of the bar for their own personal use!!! I mean cmon! Losers.

Food was amazing, our waitress/bartender was super sweet, prices are fantastic, and drinks are strong. I’m giving three stars only because the timing of when our food came out was awkward. My husband and I went to Tel Aviv last night to attend a «Paint Nite» event and decided to eat there before the event started. We got there around 6pm and there weren’t many customers at the time. Inside of the restaurant is very modern and beautiful and we got a nice welcome from the staff behind the bar. We opted to eat outside and our waitress was very prompt and attentive. We noticed right away the that prices on the menu were so fantastic that we were able to try a few things without spending a ton of money. I ordered the duck sliders, tomato & mozzarella skewers while my husband ordered buffalo chicken sliders and a steak with gorgonzola butter. We got assorted bread rolls with gorgonzola butter to share. All of my food came out with the bread and my husband ended up waiting at least 15 minutes for his sliders to come out. At that point he said«I have a steak coming too, right?» to which the waitress confirmed. We finished all of our food and had to go back into the bar so we wouldn’t miss the start of the Paint Nite event and the steak still hadn’t come out. We finally go the steak around 7pm. It was over cooked(my husband asked for medium) but it was so delicious that we didn’t care. This bar would have gotten 5 stars easily had it not been forever to wait for my husbands food. We would definitely return!

I stopped in here a couple of weeks ago, quite by accident. Taking photos at night in Providence in the winter(well actually the spring that feels like winter) can be pretty cold! While waiting for the sun to set I stopped in Tel Aviv with a couple of friends. It was pretty quiet in there because it was only 6:30, but we sat at the bar. Unfortunately, since this wasn’t a planned stop we had already eaten but we ordered a bottle of wine to warm up with. The wine list was varied and had some unique offerings. The décor can be described as exotic modern and really beautiful(we actually took as many pictures inside as we did of Providence at night). The staff was pleasant helpful and didn’t rush us a bit. I will definitely stop there for dinner or tapas on another night. I can’t wait to try the food!

Gorgeous bar, great design to the space. Modern and classy. Loved everything we ate. Za’tar bread was incredible. Beautifully bold flavors. Tuna bites were clean, light, and excellently seasoned. Hope they put kibbeh balls on the menu! Maybe adding some more light veggies to the menu would be good too… taboulah or something else on the healthier side would round out all the other strong flavors we enjoyed so much. We’ll be back.

The tapas were really good, light and flavorful works well when im getting my drank onn. I noticed theo from spats and paragon owns or runs it hes knows is stuff. Great service. Cool spot, a little uppity which is a good alternitive to whiskey which is a more a casual bar scene across the street.

Its about time a place like Tel Aviv has come to this area in Fox Point, and I hope they make it. It’s really the only place you can get good food at night around here. Sure, you can go to Lola’s(which is closed for the winter) and get nachos, or the Hot Club and get a cheeseburger, but this is the only place around here that you can get GOOD food. Atmosphere — this place will catch your eye. Their exterior is lit up nicely, and the inside is pretty new(mostly thanks to the travesty that was Gavin’s). They have a large bar, a few lounge areas, and some high tops. One thing that I was little surprised by was their music: they were playing your standard American top 40. With a name like Tel Aviv, I was hoping for SOME Middle Eastern/ME inspired music. Service — I sat at a high top, and while our service started with a glitch, our waitress apologized and was very friendly. Food/Drinks — this is why you come here(at this point in their existence, at least). They have REALLY delicious tapas that are priced perfectly. All tapas were priced from roughly $ 3 — $ 9 and were perfect for two people to share. They are seriously very good. As far as drinks go, they have your typical bar offerings at comparable prices. This area of Providence is a tricky area: there’s a ton of competition, and the three bars that are within a stones throw of this place all have waterfront decks. With spring and summer coming in a few months, Tel Aviv will really have to step up their advertising(which seems to be non existent) and their offerings to really get people to give up their waterfront view and get in here. Best of luck, Tel Aviv!

The first thing that stands out when you walk into Tel Aviv is the décor. They have a very modern but fancy décor, complimented by more natural wood elements, that all appeal to my personal aesthetic preferences quite a bit. Tel Aviv is part lounge, part tapas bar. Based off of my experiences there it seems that most of their business comes from the bar, but it’s the tapas that I keep coming back for. There is seating both near and away from the bar, with pleasant, and mood driven, ambient lighting. The music selection is interesting. During my visits I’ve heard it transition between smooth jazz tunes to electronica and house music. I like the rhythm, but it is worth noting that the music does seem to be more oriented towards the house tracks as it gets later in the night and the bar fills up. The menu isn’t huge, but it certainly has variety. Each item comes in small plates of about 3 – 5 servings, generally about $ 7. Excellent for small groups sharing a meal. My personal favorites include the chicken salad and the duck sliders. The chicken salad is served in lettuce leaves with a grape split in half on top. The natural sweetness of the grape balances the savoriness of the chicken salad exquisitely. The sliders comes on fluffy potato rolls with a mildly sweet flavor. The lamb, duck, and buffalo chicken sliders are all stuffed with various ingredients, and are juicy and full of flavor, but there is also a falafel slider option which is just as good. Beyond my personal preferences there is plenty to choose from including, hummus, spanakopita, varied, warm bread rolls served with a lovely Gorgonzola butter, and more. The service is great as well. The owner is very gracious and the waitresses are prompt and incredibly proficient. The service has a casual air that still remains distinctly professional, and the waitresses are not only knowledgeable about the menu, but recall their orders strictly from memory. Regarding the alcohol selection, the cocktails are on the pricier end, but they do have some nice wines. I’d really like to see them expand their cocktail menu. Tel Aviv could definitely squeeze some more money out of my wallet if they threw in some more whisky concoctions.

Four of us came from New York on New Year’s Day and this was one of the few places open for tapas and thank god for that! Amazing middle eastern food! We got the fattoush, cheese plate, baba ganoush, lamb sliders, duck sliders, and falafel sliders. OMG all so good. Got a couple of Martinis and our waitress/bartender made them very well. She was super sweet and even put up with our banter about grapes evolving into olives and the leaves from whence it came. Most definitely recommend

I had really high hopes for this place as a more laid back alternative to the Whiskey Republic and was really looking forward to some good middle eastern tapas. Unfortunately this place did not deliver on either front. We walked in and were quite impressed with the décor, very well done, but that’s the only good things. The person who sat us was mildly awkward and our waiter was ok, but very slow especially considering the place was mostly empty. The cocktail list was uninspired(Cuba libre with Baccardi sticks out in my mind), although there was a decent selection of wine and liquor. The food menu sounded fantastic and was well priced but the food was bland. We got the hummus, the baked feta, and the lamb sliders all of which were flavorless and had an odd texture(the hummus was served on a sliced cucumber with weird crunchy stuff on top and the feta was hard served in a pool of tasteless red grease). The worst part was the incredibly loud, awful music that did not match the décor. We asked repeatedly if it could be turned down but the waitress said no. The remixes of Miley Cyrus and Nikki manaj just didn’t work for this place that is not a dance club but a cool lounge tapas bar.

Wait? An alternative to the typical hot club, Lola’s, whiskey? This place has tapas and drinks with a lounge feel. Best part — their kitchen is open late into the hours. I was able to order tapas at 1 am which is unbeatable!

This place is very new– we went there after having a bad time at Whiskey Republic. This place has a very cool ambience, great service and good music. We were able to get tons of small plates(each $ 5– 7) around 11 pm. I tried the lamb and duck sliders– both delicious!
