I can’t dance all that great, therefore I’m not a dancer. So what is the excuse of their dancers that cant dance and constantly do the same 3 moves? I asked the DJ once, can you please play the new JLo and Pitbull song«On the floor»??? He said sure not a problem. About 45 minutes goes by, I ask the DJ again, hey so are you going to play that JLo song? He said yes he will its coming up soon. At the time the song was just released and a big hit … yet the DJ never played the song. The only reason I went here is because my boy is a promoter and I was in the area and figured me and my friends wanted to dance so we’d go and show some support. Huge mistake. Maybe the summer is a better time to go since they have an outdoor area, but I think there are definitely better places to go spend your money and dance. The female bartenders avoided all me and my friends, … the male bartender took care of me anytime I went to the bar. Too bad for them because I tip good,… just sayin! I hate snotty people. It’s got to be the Jersey Shore attitude they got going on in that place. Maybe because I’m not a guidette I don’t fit in. Well, I don’t have plans on returning especially seeing as I’m rarely in that area, and if I do return to the area… Sequel would not be a place on my to-go list. This place needs to step up its game and not cater just to the Jersey Shore crowd if they want some real customers.

Not that bad. Really, Im not kidding. Although I went with a bunch of dudes and expected to walk into the wannabe lair of Christopher Multosante, I didnt. I went on a pouring Friday night and the porch was closed, but this place was laid back. I had on sneaks and was cool, there wasnt 500,000 dudes who looked like they’d be named«Joey Boots», or a bunch of fake tan flusies. It was a racially mixed, lively and heavy drinking crowd. The miniature dance floor was insane and pretty obnoxious, but I go out to drink, not shake the honky foot. The bar was big, and the bartenders were quick and pretty friendly. The back lounge area is cool, 80’s mod-deco, but decent amount of seating and people werent acting like assholes. Waitress service. No cover. Knob Creek and Woodward’s Reserve Attractive Clientele Very little attitude. For Providence, ESPECIALLY for the Hill, this place deserves accolades for fighting the trend and remaining comfortably normal, and fun.
