Last year a few weeks before Christmas I called scratch and sniff to book pet sitting services. I asked if they serviced east providence and they said yes. I confirmed dates with them and they said they would do it. One week later Blythe called to cancel saying that one of their regular clients needed them during that time. She said that they did not service east Prov anyway. The other woman (kristan?) called me later to give me a number of another service. She refuted what the other one said. «we DO service your area.» I had to use the service she recommended and it was not very good. Because they left me hanging for a week until they got a better job I overpaid for bad pet care (Krystle Whiterell). I later found Nancy Accinno of Sit, Stay, Relax and have used her many times with excellent results. Scratch and sniff may be good, but they left me in the lurch.

For us Scratch and Sniff is a necessity for having dogs in the city. We have two dogs, but we are away from the house at work about 9 to 10 hours a day, four days a week. So the fact that they come to our house two days a week and take our babies to get an afternoon’s worth of fun and exercise is amazing. And it’s not just walks, they go to a field and get to run around with other dogs! Anyone who has dogs, but no yard and not much spare time on their hands should look into Scratch and Sniff. The women who run it are super nice and it seems like they really care about our dogs. It can get a little expensive, but can you really put a price on your dogs happiness? I have no doubt in my mind that our dogs love it. I really can’t rave about them enough!

This is a fantastic dog adventure business run by Kishan Andersen and Blythe Penna. Scratch and Sniff pick up groups of dogs of every possible description and drives them out in two specailly fitted vans (with the plates Sniff1 and Sniff2) to a 17 acre field they lease in Rehoboth. The dogs have a ball running around off lead in the fenced area for one to two hours and they LOVE it. This is just the best business of it’s kind I have every found. A true gem!
