Restored By Design has been serving Providence, Rhode Island since 2010. Our mission is to restore life by design. We are a green artisan company dedicated to the creation of eco-​fashion jewelry, clothing, accessories, home décor, rare finds, and unique works of art. We celebrate the art of creating by hand here in America, preserving the value and inspiration of the past, creating a more sustainable future.

In 2010, Martha Jackson opened Restored By Design to share her passion for eco-​fashion with the community. Martha’s vision was to create a unique and inspiring shopping experience, not just about purchasing handmade one of a kind pieces, but also about participating in creating a more sustainable future. Our eco-​fashion jewelry, accessories and clothing are made from «green resources»; 75% from bygone parts and industry excesses such as semi-​precious beads, glass, wood, and a variety of natural materials and vintage fabrics;; 15% signature designed pieces, like castings from recycled metal, and handpainted epoxy glazed natural flowers; 10% vintage collected treasures, vintage lace fabrics, organic materials, and more. Martha enjoys the quest for the materials and the fun of creating each piece.
