The Providence Preservation Society is a member-supported non-profit (501c3) whose mission is to improve the quality of life in the City of Providence (RI) through historic preservation and enhancement of the built environment.
History
Established in 1956.
The Providence Preservation Society was founded to preserve and enhance the College Hill neighborhoods around Benefit Street and Brown University. It now represents issues that affect the built environment and landscapes of the entire city.

Brent R became Executive Director in 2013. He encourages all members of the community to become active in advocacy for neighborhoods and individual landmarks.
