I found Providence Auto on my AAA app for a place to get my car inspected. It didn’t pass but the mechanic there was great and explained the issue with my car and how serious it was and quoted me a price to fix it. There was no pressure to get it fixed there. Needless to say I brought my car back the next morning to have the repairs done and had it back the same day with my new inspection sticker. Great Service… I think I found a new mechanic.

Don’t judge a book by its over here, once you brush off the dust you find a well seasoned auto mechanic. Lee made me feel very comfortable and explained my car situation the way he would treat his own car. I would come here (if even just for a quote) to get anything fixed on my car. The only downside coming here versus going to a dealership is it could take longer for your car to be fixed, which could get tricky if you don’t have a spare car or a replacement car. If you can make the choice to support Local Business go for it !

Every time. You call up 5 or 6 places looking for a price quote on a particular service or repair, and then you call Lee, and he beats the lowest quote. You take the car in; you get it back the same day. Family owned and operated. Stands by his work. What else is there to say?

It’s easy to see how this garage has been in business since the 1930s. Every time I come here I get a sense that these guys are super busy, but it never impacts my appointment. Everyone I’ve intereacted with at Providence Automotive has been personable and helpful — I never feel like a pain in the ass. I’ve had minor maintenance done here with no problem. I also prefer this place to any that I’ve ever been when it’s inspection time. I am in and out before I’ve had a chance to get bored and uncomfortable in the waiting room.
