History

Established in 2015.

Houndstooth Mobile Grooming was established to bring a much needed service to the busy residents of Providence and the surrounding areas.

The owner and operator, Kathryn, has over 10 years of industry experience, working for some of the top groomers in the country. She learned basic pet grooming skills at a corporate location in Pennsylvania before apprenticing under an award winning terrier and spaniel groomer. It was from this Mentor that she learned the art of hand stripping both terriers and sporting breeds.

Over the years she has attended countless seminars and trade shows in an effort to offer only the highest quality products and services.

Kate is awesome! She is always on time and very professional. She invests in her continuing education, which makes her extremely knowledgeable. Her van is super clean and organized. You have to check out the graphics!
She specializes in all dog personalities with an emphasis on «mean» dogs. She has a gentle and calm disposition that can tame even the most difficult dog on the planet. You will not be disappointed!

My black lab decided to play with a skunk and he lost. Kathryn was able to fit us in right away to take care of the problem. She was patient and worked tirelessly on him for 1.5 hours. I appreciate her calm and caring manner. Our lab is 15 years old and has never looked better. I love the convenience of having her parked in our driveway. I didn’t have to drive a smelly dog to the groomer in my car. Her prices are comparable to other groomers that I have used. We have already booked our next appointment.
