History

Established in 1979.

DJ with over 30 years of DJ experience, seven years full-​time. He started with two Technics turntables playing Rock Music, what we now call Classic Rock. He expanded to include Dance and New Wave/​Punk, and then became a local favorite for knowledge of Oldies from the 50’s and 60’s, although not yet born or too young to actually have experienced the music himself. He performed radio, clubs, small taverns and all the events one could possibly imagine from Weddings, Sweet Sixteens, Graduations, Family Gatherings, Class Reunions, Fashion Shows, Bar/​Bat Mitzvahs and good old-​fashioned neighborhood pig roasts. Today, his collection has evolved to over 250GB and 125 days of music covering the period from 1946 to this today with emphasis on Pop, Dance, Rock, Reggae, Oldies, Reggaeton, Hip Hop, Rap, Latin, The Classics and Classical, Lounge, Buddha Bar, Café and Popular Country. His favorites are The Beatles, George Winston, RUN-​DMC, Flamenco, Lauryn Hill, African Drumming/​Rhythms and Prince.

When did you start as a DJ?

Believe it or not, I started in 1980 at a college radio station. I ran into a friend form childhood in the halls and he invited me into the station. I saw the mixing boards, turntables and microphone and was hooked on the spot. By the end of the semester, I was Music Director and Program Director.

Why do you offer a Guarantee?

I know I excel as a DJ. I want you to have that same assurance so you can focus your attention and energy on other areas of your Wedding or Event. You worry about getting your guests there and feeding them. I’ll make sure they have a great time and remember your Wedding or Party long afterwards. They will have fun and I am certain of that, so I can offer a guarantee since I am confident you will want to pay me. You are investing in me by hiring me and sending me a deposit. I am investing in you by offering the following guarantee: if you are not happy with my performance, you do not have to pay the remainder of the balance. Period.
