El Buen Gusto

Stopped in to have lunch and feed my son. The waitress was wonderful attentive and accommodating with my baby. The food was good I wish I had ordered something else but that’s only my fault. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the beans were a little salty and the rice a little dry. I would still go back however.

We were in Prosser for Crush weekend and were craving Mexican food so decided to check it out based on the great Unilocal reviews. The chips and salsa that came out were really good. I ordered the Chicken Mole and the chicken was so overcooked it was rubbery. The sauce was just OK. The beans & rice were good. My son ordered a burrito which was as big as the plate so he could only eat half. He also said it was ‘OK’. My husband got the Enchiladas Mexicanas and he said it was a miss. Although it did taste authentic, there was just something a little off about the taste and texture. Although the service was good, we would probably not eat here again.

I was in prosser taking photos of the Discovery Vineyard for kit Singh, winemaker for Lauren Ashton Cellars and stopped by this restaurant for dinner. Adela and Demetrios are the owners. Adela waited on me and Demetrios prepared his Burritos (chicken) which was outstanding. Adela prepared a wonderful margarita from her own recipe. The home made hot sauce provided special heat to the burrito. A wonderful find in Posser. If you enjoy wonderful home style Mexican food. Give this friendly restaurant a try. You will not be disappointed. What a find. Now On to my second margarita. Jeff Lantz

Delicious food, super friendly service. A wonderful rest stop on a long drive, and we had leftovers that were tasty as well!

I’ve ordered food here twice and both times it’s been a terrible disappointment. The food was beyond bad, I cannot believe all those other reviewer gave them 5 stars.
The only thing I agree is that the staff is friendly, but the food is expensive and is just not worth it.
You’ll get a better Mexican dinner if you walk down the street to the other Mexican restaurant.

Having lived in Mexico, I’m pretty picky about Mexican food. That said, our group of 4 enjoyed our meal quite a bit. While the restaurant itself is pretty basic, it was very clean and comfortable. We were greeted promptly and pleasantly and our service was very good. Our server even listened patiently while I got on my high horse about what constitutes a real Margarita. The Margarita I ended up with was a reasonable approximation of what I desired. Note: in case you’re wondering an authentic Margarita only has 3 ingredients: tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice. Therefore the gigantic ‘gritas one tends to get clearly have other ingredients in them because if you drank one of gigantic ones and it only had those 3 ingredients, one would not be able to walk out of the restaurant. At any rate the gigantic one that I got was tasty and limey so it was fine. My wife’s arroz con pollo was tasty and generous. Our friends enjoyed their meals and I liked my sope just fine. All in all, this was a very good experience and I would return and can recommend this restaurant. Good food, excellent people and solid drinks. Good job.

Excellent customer service and super yummy food. The menu has many different options. I am excited to go back and try a burger. I was told by staff that they are ½ lbs of meat. There is even one with Cougar gold cheese! I had a great experience there and will come back again.

Best restaurant in Lower Valley. Wonderful food and fantastic service. Some of the items are not on the menu but are available if you ask for it. For example I love their authentic sopitos which are not on the menu but are very delicious.
