Desert Valley Powersports was started by Dan and Michelle Denchel in 1991 in the neighboring city of Sunnyside, WA. The dealership was originally named Sunnyside Motorcycle Co. and was located in a small building off the Yakima Valley Hwy. This location was the foundation for 16 years as this mom and pop motorcycle dealership grew and soon evolved into what it is today.

Since 2008, Desert Valley Powersports has been awarded PRO YAMAHA Status. The only way we can achieve this is by you, our customers voting us in with your accolades about your total buying experience on your new Yamaha. We are the only PRO-​Yamaha dealer in eastern Washington and want to thank all of our customers for putting us into this elite level with Yamaha.
