Specializing in portraits of children, families, newborns, maternity, couples, teens/​seniors, pets, sports and special events such as birthday parties, engagements, reunions, graduations, work/​corporate functions, head shots and baby/​wedding showers, I put a modern twist on classical portraiture, combined with whimsical candid photography.

Kristi Savage Photography is based in Prosper, Texas, but serves the greater Dallas area, including but not limited to Frisco, McKinney, Celina, Allen, Gunter, Aubrey, Anna, Plano, Little Elm, The Colony, and surrounding areas.

History

Established in 2014.

I have always been passionate about photography… as a young girl, I spent the summers with my amazing cousin, the nationally acclaimed portrait photographer, Janette Bradley Smith. I developed such an affinity and appreciation for capturing the spirit of people.

While getting my Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Illinois, I relished my photography courses, even developing the film in the stinky dark room (yikes, I’m dating myself).

For the past 12 years, my main role has been «Mom» to four children, (2 with special needs), plus 2 dogs. I get chaos!

Now that my kiddos are getting older, I can devote the time to the business of taking photos for other people and helping my clients capture each stage of life… we all know the clichés about fleeting time. It’s so true.

I have always had a strong work ethic and desire to provide outstanding customer service. I take pride in what I do, and I will offer that same level of attentiveness and attention to detail for you!

Business Owner

During college, my love and passion for photography evolved to a new appreciation for creating timeless portraiture. After graduation, I worked as an Account Executive at a national advertising agency in Dallas. Upon relocating to Chicago, I worked as a Marketing and Recruitment Manager for a not-​for-​profit organization helping at-​risk children and families. My husband and I wanted to move back to Dallas since the day we left. We relocated ourselves back to Texas in 2012, and our family could not be happier.

I would be honored to provide you and your family a timeless treasure and memento of this stage of your life. As we know, the cliché is true… life passes by so quickly and it’s imperative to record these special times. Hopefully I earn your respect, so you will want me to be your photographer through the years, for all the special occasions and the everyday moments in your life.
