I must say, i think I’m a pretty tolerant person… But this afternoon, this location of the Ice Cream and Pie Kitchen… You deserve a poor rating in customer service. At 3:30 this afternoon upon entering the(empty) establishment, while my husband and daughter ordering ice cream, I casually told the young boy behind the counter we were meeting several people here for a Pony Club study session. He looked confused so I just went on to set my stuff down while they finished their ordering. I was then met by a lady, whom I’m assuming is «in charge» questioning me about the meeting and that she was not notified. She proceeded to tell me they were having a kids night where you pay $ 5 to decorate a cookie and color. Ok… I said no, we’re just meeting several people here to do a study session. She then said that this event had been planned for months and the whole establishment would be set up for coloring, decorating and painting.(Where I had set my stuff there was nothing.) Keep in mind this was not a closed party, this was an event open to the public who decided to show up. At this time there was 1 child who appeared to be family or friend of «in charge» lady. I then politely asked, «well, what are you going to do for patrons who just want to come in for ice cream and not do the kids night?» You know like US, who were there to buy ice cream(and did) and would be sitting quietly studying and quizzing each other? She said, «Well, I guess they can sit over here.»(A small group of tables in to corner of the store.) So I asked her, «so in the future if we want to bring 8 – 10 people in for ice cream we need to make a reservation?» And she said, «No, you don’t need a reservation, but I’d like to know if you’re planning on taking up my whole lobby.» I contacted our instructor and we moved our meeting. When she saw us getting ready to leave she tried to redeem herself by saying we could stay, but I told her no thank you. So lesson learned. If you will be visiting any fast food or dessert restaurant and will have more than 3 people in your party, you should kindly call them and tell them you’ll be spending money at their establishment and taking up space with your body. Ice Cream & Pie Kitchen lady, I hope your $ 5 kids night went well, because it cost you 10 paying customers tonight and we will no longer hold any Hidden Bridge Stable Pony Club meetings there, which by the way are all KIDS. Ugh.

Since the management turnover this not a good place for meetings, or lunch and definitely not early coffee meetings. Please consider the location you have and make the place the best place for breakfast…

I just love their pies and coffee. The pecan pie is the best I have ever eaten, anywhere in the world. For the quality and what goes in the pies, the prices are reasonable. I would recommend this place to all my friends.

amazing! The chocolate chocolate-chip chess pie is dense and rich and fudgy, and the homemade ice cream is just right, neither too icy nor too fatty. The bathroom has a fancy-schmancy sink, and the eating spaces vary from cozy to bright and airy.

I’ve been to multiple Pie Kitchen locations as this is the worst — by far. The product looked sloppy, the staff weren’t friendly, and some of them didn’t even know how to make the coffee beverage that I had ordered off the menu. I would never order a pie or cake from this location as the product is unpredictable and not up to Pie Kitchen’s standards.
