History

Established in 1998.

One of the top Private Golf Clubs in the Northeast, TPC Jasna Polana opened in 1998 with the building it’s championship golf course, designed by Hall of Famer Gary Player.

Prior to the golf course being coinstructed, Jasna Polana was built in the early 1970’s as the country home of J. Seward Johnson and his wife, Barbara. Designed by world-renowned architect Wallace Harrison, no effort or expense was spared in its design and construction. The result is an exquisite neoclassical country villa that captures the timeless elegance of the past while incorporating the comforts of the present.

When the decision was made to convert this magnificent private estate, Mrs. Johnson and her family partnered with the PGA TOUR’s TPC Network. With a history deeply rooted in the game of golf itself, the TPC Network was the only organization with the history and vision to turn Jasna Polana into a truly unique golf and social club.
