History

Established in 2001.

Located in historic Jugtown district of Princeton, just 20 minute walk from Princeton University, the Cloak & Dagger is in 100 year old colonial revival home renovated to reflect an English library one might find in Agatha Christie mystery setting.

Personal service, enthusiasm, and a high degree of attention is devoted to finding the right case of foul play for you to solve. We stock primarily new mass market and trade size paperbacks in an impressive inventory of established and emerging new authors.

With care for the discriminating mystery mind, we carry a full line of unique gifts and collectibles, along with audio, video, puzzles and games… perfect for solving the perfect crime!

Jerry — Aline L.

Business Owner

Aline and Jerry are lifelong lovers of mysteries. As a child, Aline read Agatha Christie and Nancy Drew novels under the covers with a flashlight. «Never had to buy flowers or candy for special occasions, just the latest mystery title for Aline» recalls Jerry during their courtship.

Jerry and Aline have taken their love of «who-​dunnits» and created an English-​style parlor bookshop to house the best mystery titles for the discerning fan.
