Good pizza. Sanchez pizza is where it’s at! They have a good selection of drinks too. Seating can be a problem, but other then that it’s mad good.

Not sure why this place has some so/so reviews, I mean don’t go there if you want some sort of fine dining experience, but the pizza is average at worst and better than that in my opinion and I had one of the best cheese calzones I’ve ever had here. I can’t speak to some of the pizzas they have with more unusual toppings but the margarita and cheese calzone were great and a fair price.

Slice Between was a pleasant surprise for me. I have been going to businesses nearby for years, but never stopped here. A fellow Unilocaler posted a beautiful margherita pie from this spot and I was sold. Ordered the large margherita and loved every bite. Fresh motz, basil and tomato sauce. Reasonable price as well at $ 15 for a large pie. Also, walked by and took advantage of the $ 1 cheese slice. My only gripe would be a complete lack of seating. There are a few bar type seats, but nowhere to sit down and enjoy a pie with friends.

Slice between has friendly employees and a relaxed atmosphere. While the seating can be a problem and there’s no real Place to wash up, I thought the quality of my Greek pizza was excellent. I ordered a single slice so they had to heat it and although I picked the peppercinis off myself, I wasn’t disappointed with the results. It’s cash only so bring your bucks!

The pizza here is pretty good. We had the Margheritta pizza and it was very fresh. The reason I didn’t give it the highest rating is there’s not great seating, no place to wash hands, and the water we got was warm. Friendly staff, lots of interesting toppings to try.

I tried out Slice Between because I was craving for pizza that day… but the craving kind of went away when I tried the pizza here(in a bad way). I got the Pesto one. The toppings to me are just very confusing: broccoli, purple onions, sundried tomatoes, and pesto sauce? Not my cup of tea really. The guy who served me was really nice though… he was happy to give me suggestions and recommendations. Maybe it’s just that one particular pizza made me not a big fan. The good thing is that they have a wide variety of drinks to choose from. A pretty affordable lunch spot near campus. There’s not a lot of seating outside, but you can sit by the bench in front of the store or get it to-go. They also have a $ 10 credit card minimum, so keep in mind for that.

Rating: 3.5÷5. It is the best pizza in New Jersey so far. We usually buy an entire pizza covered with mushrooms and roasted red peppers to go, instead of getting pizza slices. The delicious pizza is made to order quickly. You can order half of the pizza with one type of toppings and the other half with different toppings. The seating area is limited. Slice between also offers deliveries. We have been parking on the street or at the affordable local public parking.

Worst excuse for Pizza I have seen anywhere! They actually opened packages of mushrooms and jars of olives while I was there. No fresh ingredients, either canned or things come chopped and ready – like a cheap salad bar. They don’t even have a knife in the kitchen – from what I could see. If you don’t question the quality of ingredients, you really are missing it. They use deli slices for the mozzarella cheese topping. Cardboard crust – and the pizzas available in the display have been sitting all day. I think it’s time to tell these folks that they cannot open every restaurant in Princeton and make a whopping profit. Stick to subs – as you do next door. Pizza – you don’t have down.

I am downgrading my review to 3-stars, because I have been here a few times since my initial post and have not come away as satisfied. Although I still believe that Slice Between makes a solid pie, I have noticed that the by-the-slice offerings consistently taste a bit stale and I am not at all convinced that they use high quality ingredients(meats, cheese, vegetables) in their pies. I have learned to steer clear of their multi-topping pies and would only recommend the basics(margherita, pepperoni, etc.) here. I wouldn’t mind if the staff was slightly friendlier, as well. Granted, their main customer base is drunk/hungover college students, so I really can’t fault them too much for the«order quickly and GTFO» vibe they seem to give off. Lastly, I feel their prices are too high considering the average quality of the food. All in all, a solid neighborhood joint, but not one I would go out of my way to patronize. I would only recommend going here if you are in the immediate area and looking for the standard NY-style pie. There are plenty of other higher-quality gourmet pizzerias in the area(DeLorenzo’s Tomato Pies, Nomad, Osteria Procaccini, to name a few) and Slice Between really doesn’t hold a candle to any of those.

I must say that it’s the sauce that makes the pizza and this place sandwiched between Georges and Hoagie Heaven makes great pizza. I’ve been passing by and never tried it until a Groupon shows up and I say to myself why not ?! I ordered a Margarita pizza(just sauce, basil and mozzarella) to go. There were 2 young men serving and they seemed pretty nice(smile, can I help you, etc…) There’s not much seats there, probably abut 5 stools. Pizza was ready in 15 mins. The dough was nice and chewy with a small crunch upon biting it. But it’s the sauce ! The sauce is not strong and acidic like tomato paste but smooth with a hint of sweetness. Reminds me of good quality San Marzano. The morzzarella was good with a bit of stringiness as you pull away from your bite. Basil to top it off. They do have salads, I docked a star because their pizza menu is not extensive for a pizza joint, more like here’s 6 types OR you can pick and choose your topping(varies from $ 1 — $ 2 per each topping) which comes a bit pricey. I’ll def try something else next time.

Extremely unsatisfied. They have a punch-card rewards program which allows you to take home a free pizza once you purchase ten pizzas from them. I purchased two pies. The cashier only punched out one box in a way that would make it seem that he punched out two by overlapping it with another box. He repunched that same second box the next time I came in. I tried to order a veggie pizza. The bell peppers were cut in huge chunks. Cherry tomatoes were placed whole on the pizza. Onions were cut in huge chunks rather than slicing them thinly and separating the layers. The people who make the pizzas should really eat them once in a while. No one wants to eat a soggy pizza and get a huge mouthful of onion. Thank you, but I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Second-best after Nomad pizza in Hopewell, but this one is right near where I work, so it’s always slices for lunch. I particularly enjoy their delicious sausage, although sometimes they do put a bit too much sauce on for my liking. Takeout only, unless you sit at one of the two stools at the little counter in the window.(tip: you can take food over and sit outside Blue Point Grill a few doors away(at LUNCH time only) although I have heard they have recently begun enforcing a «please only eat food from Nassau Seafood here at the tables» rule).

Pizza used to be much better when they opened first. There is still hope, but it isn’t the first choice when it comes to my favorite pizza place in princeton.

The place was better when they first opened & made an effort to make customers happy. Now, of course, it’s doughy, undercooked, & not fit for my dog.

Hoagie Heaven; Great. George’s; Great… hard to believe«A Slice Between» is related. This is just my opinion, but the crust could have been cooked more evenly, the sauce had way to much black pepper, and the cheese nearly non existent.

I ordered the Margherita Margaro Pizza for delivery. It arrived cold with very little mozzarella and no fresh basil. I also ordered the dessert pizza which was essentially a thin layer of Nutella and 8 pieces of banana arranged on top of crust so cold and rubbery it was inedible. The crust is chewy, the toppings are sparse, and they probably shouldn’t be delivering since they don’t seem to have any mechanism to keep the pizza warm. Perhaps it is better for dine-in, but the items in my delivery were all so disappointing, I threw them out and went and got something else.

This is by far the most underrated pizza place in town. Why is no one talking about Slice Between?!? When it comes to pizza there’s a spectrum. On one end there’s your classic New York Slice(sorry Dominos, Pizza Hut, and Little Ceasars, I’m not even including you in my spectrum, you’re ruining pizza) and on the other end there’s the trendy high-end gluten-free, organic, free range buffalo mozzarella, personal pie. Slice Between fits nicely in the middle. Pun intended. Go check it out for yourself, either the next time you want a quick slice or a whole pie. You won’t be sorry you did.

I like it! I used to love Old World Pizza and was so disappointed when they left. I’m pleasantly surprised by this pizza. Though they don’t offer the vegetarian pepperoni like Old World I found their crust just as good or even slightly better than Old World. The only thing that lacks is the sauce. It’s on the sweet side so it’s hard to taste the true flavor of the tomato. Overall though it doesn’t kill the experience of this pizza.

I was able to try Old World’s Pizza before they changed it to Slice Between. It didn’t seem to change in taste, just ownership and name, but now own by the same people as Hoagie Haven and George’s which is all right next door. Their pizzas are the best in the area, because I am bias and do like my pizzas with the thin bready crust. Quick and friendly staff, which makes your pizzas rather quick. Try it out if you are in the area and want some pizza!

Goodbye Old World and hello Slice Between, which is also conveniently owned by the purveyors of Hoagie Haven and George’s. It’s literally a row of the most artery-clogging cuisine in Princeton, which is akin to heaven for hungry students and athletes. The crust is similar to Old World’s with a nice crunch and a touch of chewiness, but the sauce is not as flavorful. They do give you more cheese, though. Overall, our margherita was pretty good and it’s a nice, decently-priced option for grabbing pizza in Princeton. It’s not quite as good as Conte’s but you can get here from campus without a car or a long walk and it’s not as pricey(~$ 15 for a large margherita). I should also point out that they have a Nutella pizza for $ 8 that is a good pick for those of us who have a severe sweet tooth. Will definitely be back to try it. Leave it up to these guys to come up with a dessert pizza!
