History

Established in 1996.

The Salt Creek Grille restaurant was formed in January of 1996 by founders, Tim McCune and Peter Truxaw. The restaurants showcase a timeless, turn-of-the-century décor, which is warm and inviting and offers the comfortable ambiance of a high-end steakhouse. Each restaurant has the Company’s trademark outdoor fireplace in the center of the entry porch. The interior is refined and reveals a «craftsman,» also known as «mission,» architectural design, made famous by Frank Lloyd Wright

The building exteriors are characterized with sloped roof overhangs, cedar shingle siding, and Asian-style tiffany lamps. The dining atmosphere, which is reminiscent of the classic full-service American Grille, is carried throughout the dining rooms and bar using mahogany wood tones with sophisticated yet subtle lighting. An all mesquite wood grill accentuates a strategically designed exhibition kitchen. Private Rooms are available through our Sales Department.
