We provide private tutoring (academic subjects & test prep) and college counseling. We are headquartered in Princeton, NJ but also have operations in Ann Arbor, MI, Boston, MA, Chapel Hill, NC, and Chicago, IL.
Our instructors, who also act as role models and mentors, are the highest performing students and graduates from Ivy-plus universities, and our College Counseling program is headed by former Admissions Officers from Princeton University and New York University.
Since our inception, we have provided thousands of hours of tutoring and have helped students improve their confidence, increase grades, and gain admission into selective high schools and top colleges.
History
Established in 2005.
Princeton Tutoring’s founding partners Greg Wong and Kevin Wong are brothers and Princeton University graduates. They have over 20 years of experience in the educational services industry.
Greg and Kevin’s passion for teaching and helping others began in high school. However, it was not until their time at Princeton were they were able to maintain several-years-long tutoring relationships with their students. It was with these clients that they were able to experience first-hand the incredible impact that long term one-on-one tutoring could have on a child.
Their main focus was not on improving grades, but on addressing gaps in the fundamental skills necessary to become a better student and more effective learner. Confidence, grades, and test scores all improved dramatically.
After Kevin graduated in 2005, the brothers decided to pursue their passion for education by founding Princeton Tutoring. They have also committed to donating a percentage of profits to selected charities.
