We recently moved into the Mews and we really love it! We are in a one bedroom and it is a great size and it was very clean when we moved in(freshly painted, clean carpet). The maintenance staff is always quick to help with any issues whatsoever in the apartment and the leasing staff is always friendly and cheerful. The amenities such as the pool and tennis court are really great. Wish the pool was open for the entire month of September(it closes Labor Day). The gym is a tad small, but it has everything you need. The location is perfect as there is a free shuttle bus that goes directly to the train station during commuting hours and also picks you up at the end of the day to bring you home. This is a huge selling point and feature. The area surrounding the Mews is really beautiful – tons of parks, forests and walking trails nearby. Just a 10 minute drive to Princeton’s campus and downtown area with lots of restaurants and shops. We are really pleased with our time so far at the Mews and I recommend it to anyone moving to the area.

The Mews is an okay place to live overall; My review mostly concerns the staff at the leasing office. They are horrible to work with after you sign the lease. So unhelpful and condescending. You would think it was in their best interest to go out of their way to make life harder for their customers. Their online rent service failed to withdraw my money from my account; I ended up having to pay the late fee because they don’t have the system properly set up. The woman’s response to my concerns was totally insulting and she insinuated I did not have the money. Needless to say, I cut my lease and moved to a beautiful 4 bedroom house in the area and I pay the same amount in mortgage each month as I did rent. SO happy to be free of the Mews.

If I could leave minus stars, I would. The place is atrocious. Absolutely ill maintained and depressing. The«state of the art» gym is tiny, not well equipped, and extremely smelly. When you go to deposit your trash, you might occassionally find that it is locked, so people pile up their trash on the ground. My executive housing company gave me the«Emergency» number for The Mews in case of maintenance emergencies, only to my –and my company’s surprise– to find that the number was wrong. Of course we had to call the number because there was an emergency at 11 pm, and we reached no one. My company directed me to go to a hotel until the issue is resolved. And the topping for me was when people started stealing my packages from in front of my door. The mailboxes are small, so of course your packages will be delivered to yoru doorstep, and then you will never see them again. When I complained, the managing office indicated they are only a leasing office and they couldn’t do anything about it. I can’t wait to get out of here…
