I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while. As of right now, there are only three places near Princeton campus that serve bubble tea(that I know of): Fruity Yogurt, More Café, and Holsome. I’ve already tried the bubble tea at Fruity Yogurt and More Café, but have yet to set foot in Holsome in my three and a half years here. Nobody ever talks about it either, which really is a shame. They have a giant selection of teas(mostly non-herbal, though there are also plenty of herbal options), though if you’re looking for some of the usual bubble tea flavors(e.g. mango, green apple, passionfruit), you may have some difficulty. They are, first and foremost, a tea shop and not a bubble tea shop, so their teas are made directly from tea leaves and not from powders. If you want actual tea without artificial flavoring, this is your place. There’s also a couple types of boba to choose from; the elderly lady who was taking my order gave me the rainbow boba, which actually tastes a lot better to me than the usual boba bubble tea places use by default. She was super friendly and helpful, and was thoughtful enough to ask about my milk and sweetener preferences. I was pleasantly surprised to find that soymilk didn’t cost extra. It took a little while to get my tea ready because they needed to brew the tea and cook the tapioca, but it was worth it.

The bubble tea here is amazing. Cute store, really sweet couple that owns the place, tea made fresh from leaves, totally worth coming here. I got the dragon fruit and rose green tea as a bubble milk tea, it was delicious and such good tea, I’m not even a tea person

The types of tea leaves offered here are endless. The sweetest little lady waited patiently as I tried to narrow down what I wanted to drink and she even offered to add more honey to my cup to fit my taste buds! The bubble tea here is not the sugar filled sweet drink; it’s tea straight from tea leaves with added tapioca balls. Location is very convenient and I would definitely go back. It’s good AND it tastes healthy!

I love this place. But mostly because it is kind of obscure, despite being on Witherspoon. The times I’ve been there, it’s been really quiet(like, no one else was there). The first time, I ordered jasmine bubble tea, the second, a chai tea. Both were excellent, and actually made from their bulk teas(not from powder). $ 4.50 for bubble tea is about right. The owners were personable, seemed very knowledgable about tea, and worked to customize my order to taste. I was able to sit and get some work done in quiet, which is why I chose to go there. Don’t expect an exciting place… But certainly serene. Oh, and they have a beautiful sculpture piece in the shop too. Worth checking out!

This may be the best place that ever existed. Come here to buy looseleaf tea(in addition to their other products), or just relax and have your tea here. Will return any time I am in town!

A great underrated place for tea, by the cup or in bulk. They have a huge collection of herbal, green, black teas of all quality and taste and very cheap! They will make any of their bulk tea into a hot or cold tea cup to sip inside or take out! I wish the place had a nicer ambiance, and then I would literally spend all day there.

This is a great place to sit for a while, drinking tea and staring out the large windows while the crowds pass by on Witherspoon. It is quiet, sparsely decorated, and not crowded. That is to say, the atmosphere is different from Small World in every way. When I was there, the wifi was barely functional, but I didn’t much mind. I had an excellent pot of white tea, and I look forward to trying their other teas.

The only local place that I know that sells a very wide variety of teas from inexpensive fruit tea from Germany to top of the line teas from Taiwan and Japan. Wide selection of teas for the beginner as well as tea connoisseur. Yoga classes are offered in the different section of the shop but I will let someone else to write a review as I do not practice yoga.
