Princeton Air is a customer driven HVAC contractor. Since 1971, we have gained prominence in central NJ and southeastern PA by providing thoughtful, personal service to homeowners and commercial businesses.

On the coldest weekend of this winter, our furnace started choking. Eric M arrived with in minutes after calling and quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He is very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. We liked him so much that we not only signed up to buy and install a humidifier even though the price seemed little hight but requested for Eric to come for installation. We highly recommend him.

At the height of the 2016 blizzard, our heat went out so we called Princeton Air. Eric M. called us back and although he was very busy helping other customers, he made it to our house. While a permenant fix couldn’t be made at the time, Eric was able to get the system working again while new parts were being ordered.

Today, I had Princeton Air come out and do the yearly maintenance on my furnace. The technician, Alberto, was very nice and showed me everything that was checked. He showed up on time, and was very honest and answered all questions that I asked. I had to laugh. instead of wearing booties to protect the carpet, he wore what looked like space «moon» boots as protection. We had a good laugh over it. He was very respectful, professional, and very honest. I appreciate that in a service, which seems to go by the wayside with other companies today. I would recommend Princeton Air to anyone, and will use them in the spring for my air conditioner maintenance, as well as my furnace next year. Thank you very much, Alberto!

Today Chris S stopped to perform my annual service on the furnace. He was really knowledge, professional and helpful in helping me understand some of the functions of the humidifer and took his time in cleaning out the various parts of the furnace. The best was that for the past three years I have had a rattle and for the last three years I was told there was not much that could be done about it. The best part of the rattle was that it would let me know the furnace had kicked in the early morning but Chris upon hearing the rattle spent time to find the source and with a few adjustments the noise was soon fixed. Now I will let the alarm wake me up which will give another half hour of sleep every morning. Thanks Chris I really appreciate the service you provided.

Needed a new gas furnace and had estimates from 4 contractors. Colin did a nice job of explaining my options and provided a reasonable quote without any nonsense about an additional 5% discount if I decided on the spot. Installation was a few days away so Colin dropped off 3 space heaters in case it got cold in the meantime. I am very satisfied with everyone involved.

I’ve been a customer of Princeton Air for many years and they have always been helpful. The last few service visits were done by Jake. He was courteous and thorough. He came to our house on time. He was careful to cover his shoes so as not to track in dirt, He explained what we was doing and why. This visit he located a rusted part that will need replacement. He showed me the part and demonstrated why it was not working properly. He then researcher the replacement options. He was very professional.

We recently moved into a new house and needed help with weak air from one of our air handlers/​condensers. Despite the complexity of our system, Eric was quick to diagnose the problem and immediately suggested several viable solutions. He is professional and very knowledgeable as well as a pleasure to deal with.

Alberto «Tito» Martino from Princeton Air came out to repair my AC units and did a fantastic job. He was polite, professional and knowledgeable, arrived on time and was very efficient in his repair time! This was the first time we have used Princeton Air and will most definitely be using them again!

I was so disappointed by the fact the work ethics does not meet any professional standards.
I had Home Energy Audit done. Even though, their (marketing) email mentioned that the audit will be comprehensive and will take 3 – 4 hours. The time taken by the «Auditor» was little over an hour. The process was not comprehensive. His findings were generic; not specific to my home. When I asked him, why he can’t give any specifics. His response was «it will take few days of work» to provide specifics. His report had few IR images that was not from my house but a generic one. Based on the other reviews, I thought I found a reliable company, where I can get services done. It was a total waste of my time and money .

Scott, Thank your for your response. Will be calling you soon. I wish your staff had same degree of professionalism in responding to customer concerns. I got no response from her, when I expressed my disappointment in an email.

I’ve been dealing with Princeton Air since long before the days of 56k modems, and have nothing but good to say about them.
My most recent experience is no exception. After the compressor in one of my 25-​year-​old residential AC units died on me, they sent Eric Muench out to scope out the problem. Very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous, he quickly identified the problem, repaired it, and had the unit up and running again in no time.
It’s only a matter of time when I eventually have to upgrade to a new system, but when I do, I will be again calling on Princeton Air.

Despite their huge success and extensive advertising, Princeton Air is a company you should avoid. high prices, poor service and a total lack of reliability .I had a heating and air conditioning unit installed five years ago and from the very first year, there were problems… having paid extra for an extended warranty, I thought I was covered… I was told that breakdowns weren’t covered unless I had a contract… an additional $ 300 a year… the air conditioner’s compressor constantly trips and I now need to purchase a new unit…(I was told by two different contractors that this is because of a faulty installation) …stay away from Princeton Air Conditioning and Heating.
