Mt. Lebanon Awning

Had awnings made a few years ago, had 2 have them restitched which was ok due 2 use, but paid over $ 240 and they left 5 or 6 large pinholes in fabric. Told us 2 bring back & they would fill in with glue! Did not go back. Put awnings up yesterday and discovered that when they stitched them, they sewed over the opening for the ropes! Absolutely done with them, their customer service is the worst.

While we were very happy with the quality of the awning we purchased at great cost last Fall, we are now wondering if we will ever see our awning back again. Apparently we should have received a post card in the mail in February that we would respond to. Then they would know when to come and put our awning back up. We waited through the entire month of April, thinking the weather was bad so they are probably getting late starts. Well here it is approaching mid-​May and the response to our inquiry to the company was oh too bad — we must have forgot your post card. We’ll try to get to you by May 15. This is disappointing since we love in a planned community where our choice of awnings was very limited. I recommend their good quality awning, but certainly not their customer service so far.

After a bad storm a few years back, my cloth front porch awnings were practically destroyed from intense high winds. I called my home owners insurance and of course they were covered and they directed me to Mt Lebanon Awning. The next day I called and within a few hours a service man was out, measuring my porch and had me choosing a color, even suggesting colors that not only complimented my house, but the neighborhood. I chose a dark green which he steered me away from, informing me that dark colors absorb the heat and will make the porch I love sitting on in the summer too hot during the afternoon hours. I was never a fan of aluminum awnings, I guess the cloth is always what my parents had when I was growing up. I choose a lighter shade and within a week I had new awnings.
End of story? Nope, in the fall, around October 15^th, they come and take the awnings down for me, repair them, and store them at the warehouse. Then around April 1^st, they come to my house and put them up for me. It’s a service you pay for, but well worth it! Great company!
