7pm Saturday night found this nice little spot. Had some of the best pistachio nut ice I have ever had. Could tell home made. Really excellent and perfect amount of sweet. Excellent

This shop caught my eye while walking in the park. It’s the cutest shop I’ve seen. It has an old fashioned theme and I think that’s adorable! They make their own popcorn and candy. They have a lot of selections of treats. They have vintage candies which I think is the best part. We bought some popcorn and a couple bags of candy. They staff was nice. Although it did look a little cluttered inside and it felt small inside. That’s why I gave it 4 stars because it can look a little messy. I really enjoyed coming here I never have been to some place like this(:

Not sure why this place has such good ratings. Anyways, the candy selection seemed nice and lots of variety but since I didn’t purchase any I can’t say much about that. This review is mostly about the ice cream part of the shop. I went in and looked at the selection they had and walked up to the register and placed my order. The two girls working looked at each other and laughed and right then I just got a weird vibe. Not sure what their deal was or if they’ve never had a job serving people before, but they just kept giving each other«looks» and it was pretty uncomfortable. The ice cream was average, not good not bad. Was a little expensive in my opinion, plus there’s a charge for using a card. I think if you’re craving ice cream you’ll have better luck elsewhere, I wasn’t impressed.

Brought out-of-town guests here for ice cream while visiting The Square. Everyone loved the ice cream, especially the French Vanilla.

We went here for ice cream because it was well located by the square and they advertised interesting flavours of homemade ice cream. We went in and sampled a few flavours– service was friendly. But the ice cream was, without understatement– terrible. Icey and lacked flavour. Felt old and almost as it had melted and then frozen again. Or just made by someone who can’t make ice cream. I hardly ever throw away ice cream but this time I did. If you think of going– don’t!

Awesome place to check out while you’re browsing the shops in downtown Prescott. I love the jalapeño popcorn and my 3yo girls loved the hot chocolate, huge selection of candy, and the buttered popcorn. I also picked up a chocolate pretzel rod and it was delicious, I wish I had grabbed more. The staff were so patient and kind. We will have to make a trip back just for more popcorn!

Great local and unique treats! Went for ice cream and they have so many flavors it was overwhelming! Got the single scoop in waffle cone and it was gigantic… And delicious(Oreo crunch). Checked out some of their popcorn(again so many flavors) and decided to get a large bag of half white cheddar, half jalapeño on a whim. So glad we did! White cheddar is good and jalapeño is amazing… One of a kind. Not too spicy, similar flavor to kettle cooked jalapeño potato chips.

OMG, this place is great. Their caramel corn is THEBOMB! So fresh and so perfect. I am dreaming about it now! They have a bunch of other varieties too. I think I had garlic popcorn and it was soooo good. I am only sad that this place in in Prescott because I wish it was in the Phoenix area. What a treat! Pricing is reasonable and everything is so yummy. They have ice cream and candy too. Will have to try that next time. Maybe I can convince my friends in Prescott Valley to bring me some!

As soon as you walk in you get the sweet aroma of all the candy, popcorn and ice cream. Great place to come if your looking for an afternoon treat(especially if you see everyone else walking around with a cone). Pretty irresistible at that point. I had the cookie dough and vanilla(2SCOOP) in a waffle cone. Would try something else in place of the cookie dough next time but the vanilla is sure delicious. Love homemade ice cream!!!

One of the many stores in this area, this place was like a paradise for my wife! Mother ended up buying more things then anyone after she was complaining about going in! Wide selection of fudge, chocolate, popcorn, and candy! They also offer samples! Neat place

I am only basing this review on the ice cream. It is advertised as homemade. Maybe it is homemade but it didn’t feel like it. When I think of homemade, I picture it being made that month with seasonal fruits. This ice cream was hard as a rock, I felt so sorry for the girl scooping it. It seems like it has been frozen for months. One of their flavors was black cherry which is not in season right now. Out of our party of 3, 2 of us took a few bites and threw it away. My s’mores had no flavor. It was kind of gross actually. I would not recommend this ice cream.

Very cool casual candy store with ice cream, and several flavors of popcorn. They have all kinds of candy(not the largest selection but if you need more, you may have a problem). Service was good, and the place is pretty clean inside. It is located along whiskey row which is kind of weird but we appreciated it since we were with our kids and could not partake in the whiskey drinking.

We come here every time we’re shopping around the area. it is a nice little candy store. Let’s get the bad out of the way first: The place is really claustrophobic. And since it’s always crowded, it’s even worse. They’ve got samples as well, but they have no tongs or anything so everyone’s been touching it and, well just don’t take any samples. The popcorn here is to die for, you really need to try it. And the candy selection is also great. As is the ice cream. If I was rating this place based on the candy, it’d bean automatic five-stars. But, I’ve got to rate it as a store, and since it’s so small and crowded, I can’t give it a perfect rating.

Not sure why other reviewers described the Treat Center as «dingy.» I didn’t get that impression at all. Everything was brightly lit and clean. Love that they were open late on a Friday night. Stopped in and got some ice cream, fudge, and cashew brittle. All of it was excellent. I do like that they have a good selection of candies, as well as a very large section just for salt water taffy. There’s a lot of different flavored popcorns, too. The one thing I agree with others on the reviews is that the samples sit out with no tongs or anything to prevent grubby, dirty hands from touching other people’s food. They need to have some other way of presenting samples. Overall, however, this place is great. One of the unique places on the Square that makes it a great place to visit and spend an evening.

Amazed at the negative reviews on this place. Cute shop, delicious ice cream(and popcorn and other treats), great location… What more can you ask for? Love that they have a «sampler bowl,» for $ 3.50 you can choose four small scoops of their Young’s Farm homemade ice cream. Lots of flavors to choose from including the traditional Rocky Road, Cheesecake, Butter Pecan, etc. but also some really unique flavors such as Prickly Pear. Highly recommend grabbing a scoop and enjoying it on the courthouse lawn just across the street.

Just your average sweets store. A place crammed with different flavored popcorn(lots of samplers), home made ice cream, chocolate covered marshmallow treats and candies galore. Nothing really stood out for me to come back to.

In town to visit friends, we stopped in after a bike ride to grab some ice-cream… because that’s what you do after you just burned some calories, right?! The ice cream was delicious and the popcorn selection was jaw-dropping. I picked up a couple bags as gifts for friends and family(VERY well-received, by the way) and browsed through all the candy I recognized from childhood and a lot that I didn’t. This is a cute little shop in the town square directly across from the courthouse. I’d love to stop in next time we are in Prescott!

I’ve been in this shop a few times and they have a TON on offer — popcorn in a hundred flavours with samples, home-made chocolates and bark and brittle, old fashioned candy, as well as ice cream. Just about every treat you’d like can be found here. I bought taffy back in Jerome so I opted for chocolate here. Got chocolate-covered vanilla wafer and a triple chocolate brownie along with a few souvenir postcards — $ 3. Can’t beat that and the wafers were AWESOME.

Rolling into Prescott from a trip to the Grand Canyon, I stopped at this ice cream parlor for some homemade ice cream… it’s old, just like the rest of the town, but the service was friendly and speedy and the ice cream was well, ice cream! There really wasn’t anything special about this ice cream shop other than they boast many differing kinds of candy and old fashioned taffys… but really, it’s a sleepy store like the rest of its brethren in this town. I’m so glad they named Phoenix as the capital! :)

Okay they’ve got candy… real candy…, candy snakes, wax candy lips, candy straws, rock candy, pop rocks candy, lemon heads candy, necco candy, bubble gum candle…(you got the point), a family owned business whose staff is as sweet as ???, you guessed it … candy. Friendly grandpa makes the popcorn, Sweet grandma makes the fudge and peanut brittle, Business mom handles the cash register and lottery tickets and the Goofy kids scoop the ice cream. It’s one of those shoppes that smells like everything good at the fair,(not the carnies) and you leave with a big smile, a bag of candy, a sugar rush and thoughts of your younger years(e.g. The Magic of Candy).
