Bill’s Grill specializes in creative, made from scratch build-​your-​own and specialty hamburgers, (both carnivorous and vegetarian!). We also feature great seafood, chicken and vegetarian dishes. For the thirsty, we have a full bar with a great selection of craft beers, many of them brewed in Arizona!

History

Established in 2011.

Opened by Bill Tracy, creator of Bill’s Pizza and The Dinner Bell restaurants in Prescott. Bill’s Grill is another great example of his mentality of using only the finest ingredients, many of them locally sourced, to create a restaurant that offers great food at a reasonable price.

Although this place is known for burgers, we decided to try it out anyway because of previous reviews. We were not disappointed. My daughter had the chicken sandwich with onions and avocados. She really enjoyed it. My wife and I each had the salmon. She had the blackened with chipotle sauce and I had the teriyaki with mango sauce. Both were terrific. In addition we had an order of onion straws which were very tasty. We had a great experience for a really reasonable price. We will be back if we ever visit again. We were in Prescott for the week during my daughter spring break from ASU poly.

Had a blast driving up to Prescott and stopping in this surprisingly good diner/​bar. Nothing much driving up but when you get inside the food and service is spot on. We both ordered burgers that the server recommended and they are by far the best I’ve had in Prescott. They actually put some love into the meat instead of just throwing some junk on a bun. Crispy onion strings on point. Anddddd we splurged on the calorie intake and smashed some chili cheese fries. So even though it’s not in the town square it’s a 2min walk down the street and you’ll be happy you did so.

Greeted by 2 staff on entering; the half pound burger was served rare– as requested! These guys grind their Angus beef onsite and cook it to order! Yumulations abound here between their great selection of beers on tap and Haagen-​Dazs ice cream shakes, to name my faves

Good selection of beer on tap and the food was on point for being a burger/​café spot. Good selection to choose from on the menu or you can build your own burger or sandwich. Prices are also very reasonable and the service was good.

Ordered take-​out from this place and stayed at the Motor Lodge, just down the road. Their burgers are insanely good, their servers are nice and we were able to pick up the burgers 20 minutes after calling!

Perhaps the best burger I’ve ever had… The Buffalo Blue! Service… Not so up to the burger’s high bar standard. Seemed like a lack of any management. Sad!

Oh my goodness! The burgers were awesome! Had the Chili Burger, you know it’s good when you have to use fork and knife to eat it. Hubby had the Portlander, fried egg, cheese, bacon, ham… huge yummy burger. The onion strings are perfect and they load up the plate. Definitely spend extra and get the local beef. Definitely come hungry.

The burgers are great…
But the service isn’t. Last time we went in, nobody would even acknowledge us for 20 minutes so we left. Tonight, we tried again, only because the burgers are tasty. You would think the servers got paid by the frown or attitude.

Stopped by for lunch while we were doing the Flagstaff-​Williams-​Prescott-​Sedona road trip loop. Picked this place because it has one if the highest rating on town.
And we were not disappointed.
It’s a cute little joint with covered patio that is attached to the main restaurant. No A/​C but it was endurable with the fan. Very friendly service.
Patty Melt ($ 7.95) definitely tastes better than it looks. 1⁄3 lb. patty grilled, with aged Swiss cheese served on rye. Couldn’t be done better.
Chipotle Chicken Salad ($ 12) is a huge portion (choice of large or small, I picked the large) full of mixed greens, arugula, candied pecan, avocado (one whole avocado), mandarin orange wedges and grilled chicken. It’s the perfect salad!
Servers all very cheery and friendly. Food is excellent. Small town gem!

Staff was super friendly. The restaurant itself is very charming. The menu had lots of burger options, as well as vegetarian, seafood, and chicken. Food was very delicious! We started with An order of chili cheese fries, which came out of the kitchen fast and tasty. The chicken I ordered was perfectly done and my friends burger was very good! Wish I was local because I would make this is a regular dining spot!

Yes yes yes to this place that makes little miracles by blending «who would have thought» ingredients together. The Amanda sandwich was delicious, their fries crispy and flavorful, the chimmichuri burger awesome. We found them on Unilocal on our road trip. Simply yum

The food is great! The staff and price, not so much.
Be prepared to pay a lot of extras. Once we got the bill we were surprised to find the cost of the food, taxes and a courtesy charge. We are a family of four… They charged an extra 2 dollars for courtesy. What courtesy are we paying for? The waitress was barely ever there and the tables were not very clean…

Stopped into Bill’s at the end of an overnight trip to Prescott. I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect, as everybody said it’s good, but I have learned not to expect much from the local flavor in small (ish) towns in AZ.
The place definitely has that small-​town diner vibe to it. Cheap tables, laminated menus, etc. The décor feels like it’s at least a generation outdated.
But the food is fantastic. Burgers are top notch, and I got mine with a wonderful side of onion straws. They offer you the opportunity to build your own burger, which you should pass up for one of their excellent specialty burgers.
I haven’t explored Prescott enough to know if there is a better lunch spot in town, but I’d have to think the odds are pretty low.

We had just arrived and were looking for a table, when one of the staff dumped French fries or onion rings all over a customer.
I thought, «Okay, let’s not sit at a table where we might have food spilled on us.» So, we decided to sit off to the side, against the wall.
Being from the Northwest, I decided to order the Portlander, which includes ham, bacon, and a fried egg.
Somehow, this small, unassuming place, is making burgers that I would put in my top 5. It was that good.
I have had burgers all over the West Coast and Bill’s Grill makes some of the best.
…and their milkshakes were good, too.
I have zero complaints and would come back here in a heartbeat.
