Smidge and Pinch

If you are looking for something unique related to baking, cooking, or planning a party this place either has it or can get it. The owner is really nice and full of information. Particularly for baking, if I need an unusual ingredient I will certainly call here first and save myself any trouble at all of trying to find it!

This place is a party and bakers dream come true! It’s located in Powell right next door to the Old Bag of Nails Pub and if you aren’t paying attention you could walk right past it but fortunately as we were coming out of the pub their door was open and in we went. Glad we did!!! OMG the stuff in there is insane! Balloons, straws, big colored gumballs, chocolate that looks like rocks for decorating, more sprinkles than I’ve ever seen in my life, cupcake sets, cake toppers, the list goes on and on!
It is just too much fun in here. Some things in there I never heard of before like reusable fabric tape. They have candles in colors and print you won’t see many other places like the ones that look just like Yo! Gabba Gabba. And I lost my mind in the cookie cutter section. And to top it off the place smelled like a big giant cupcake (I had to ask, it was a candle). There is just loads of great stuff in there and you must go and visit… I’m going back for some holiday cookie cutters. Oh, and the owner has the cutest Welsh accent too!
I almost forgot — they even have OSU colored gumballs!!!
