Puppy Luv Farms

Several years ago we boarded our dog here. When I got back, I saw the details of our bill which included the charge for batteries. I called her and asked her about the charge and she said that our dog barks at cats so she had to use the shock collar. Wow. And she claims to implement Casar Milan methods. I do not ever remember Cesar using shock collars ever. This was a huge mistake. Our dog came back with red marks on his neck.

Love, love, love PLF. Sona knows her stuff. She’s smart and in control but loves her pets. I have confidence in her abilities. My dog loves going to daycare.

Me and my babies are new to PLF mainly because others didn’t like the way they looked — breed discrimination. How I found PLF I don’t know but the pack and Sona are a God-​send. Although a good 45 – 60 min drive for me, their well being is worth it.
So far, Sona has done a home visit, both dogs have been there for their assessments, and have stayed for multiple nights. I’ve been very impressed with the difference in the attitude of my guys.

We love PLF! My boyfriend and I have tried several other places for boarding and daycare for our dog, mainly because PLF is on the opposite side of Knoxville from where we live. After he got kicked out of a different daycare, we took him to PLF for training and will never go anywhere else for boarding and/​or daycare. It is well worth the drive for us! After our Zak finished up his two weeks of training, Ms. Sona taught us how to be the pack leaders and how to maintain his boundary control. One of his biggest issues was crating and now he will «crate up» with no problem and and he isn’t stressed at all when he’s in there! No whines, barks or panicking! We take Zak twice a week for day care and he is always excited when we pull and and he is exhausted when he leaves!

We were really happy that we found Sona and Puppy Luv Farms on our trip from New Orleans to Nashville. Our puppy Lafitte stayed one night at Puppy Luv Farms and came back clean, happy, and tired. It’s a nice environment for a pup who loves playing with other dogs to stay in — space to run and a house to relax in without being kenneled.
