This review could’ve been five stars because they did a great job on my vehicle window tint in the past. They are very good at what they do and the quality is superb.
Why it isn’t a 5 star: I called their location recently to inquire about tinting and was told they only do commercial/​residential window tinting. That’s fine and everything, but the way the message was delivered is a different story
I’m assuming it was the owner that responded. If I call a business and leave a detailed message (they didn’t answer) I expect a call back, not a generic text message saying «We don’t have that service anymore, try this place». Now, if I initiated contacting the business through text it would be different. From the time I hung up the phone it only took about 5 minutes or less to receive the text.
It is EXTREMELY unprofessional, impersonal, and honestly would never go here again because of the lack of care to customers that aren’t handing over a form of payment in person. I expect this sometimes from a large chain, but not a locally owned business. I’ve seen one other review that said the same thing about the text messaging.

Jim, my phone does not receive text. Never has. I think assuming that everybody has text capability, is a risk you take on your part. You are basically sending out a one way message, with no way to verify the recipient received it. I expected a call/​message.
I have already stated I understand things happen, but trying to make me look bad or uncaring and shaming me by saying «You are basically trying to punish a small family owned business because you thought we wasted 2 hours of your time while my employee was fighting for his life in the ICU.» is not my fault, or issue, however, I wish him a full recovery.
Also, Unilocal does not count updated reviews against the business. They only average in one review per reviewer. And if you look at the rating system, you will see what 2 stars means «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» which is accurate in this case.
Lastly, I dont appreciate being patronized. Who ever said I wasnt calm? I said I was «disappointed» not hysterical. I also dont appreciate being told what is «fair». I am a 54 year old man… I was indeed disappointed, and the rating system says «I have experienced better» both of which, are true, honest, and accurate.

Jim, I had a co worker refer you guys. I liked the tint job you did on his car at the old Pickerington location.

Made an 8am appointment to get my windows tinted. Not only did they send a complimentary reminder text message the night before, but the tech even send another in the morning to let me know he was a few minutes behind. They immediately pulled my car in and got started. Despite the car taking longer than they anticipated, the original quoted price was honored. I waited on the immensely comfortable leather sofa and watched the news and an episode of maternity court and by then my car was finished at around an hour and a half. Their work looks flawless and I couldn’t be happier.
Comfortable waiting area, competitive pricing, clean and professional workspace, extremely talented and pleasant people. Highly recommended!

Made and appointment expecting to leave my vehicle there for majority of the afternoon to get front and rear windows done. They stated it would take about an hour to an hour and a half to complete, which it was finished within that time. Overall best window tint I’ve had on all my cars. If I’m still in Columbus with my next vehicle I’ll be back to this place.

Went there and highly don’t recommend at all to come here especially with so many other places around. I recommend MCB motor spa. I went here to get my car tinted after they said they would fit me in evening. My appt was at 5 but drop my car off at 4. He was still working on a car. I told him I scheduled an appt and he said he would try to make it work but wasnt sure. I don’t know why he couldn’t call to let me know this and waste my 30 min commute there and back. Since was up there decided just keep it there. I left with friend and came back at six. The one employee who was was there, was sitting outside on a picnic table. When he seen me approach he quickly got up and said he was bring in my car. I would have left right then and there but since have already invested the time decided to wait thinking would be compensate for being hour late for my appt. After the gentlemen was finish did very bad job of clean up, and didnt have time to ask him again. I asked is there anything he can do the employee said not without talking to the owner. The owner wasn’t available and I just paid and left message for the owner. He called me back and told him the situation all he said was sorry for being a little late. 10 – 15 mins is little late not a hour! He just said sorry nothing I can do. I pointed out if I made reservation at dinner or anywhere else and was hour late they would compensate. He would not compensate for the job and made it seem like him just doing the job was good enough even if was hour later then schedule. He has does not care about his customers time not their reviews. Stay away go somewhere else!

After sending several friends and family to them, I am happy to report they are consistent and doing great work. I heard they just opened a new shop in Powell, adding a new location on that end of town, which i’m sure they will have great success with if they follow the simple formula they already have. Great Product, Great Value, Fantastic Customer Service… keep it up guys!
