History

Established in 1986.

We have been at our current location on the corner of Powell and Liberty St. in Downtown Powell for 23 years. Our busniess had grown in so many ways, with each new growth brought on a name change for us. We started as Kimberly’s 14K and Absolutely Art, then there was less art glass so we became Kimberly’s Jewelry Design. Now, with bridal as a large part of the business we are Kimberly’s Diamond Corner. But don’t worry, we still have all the fun gifts we used to have.

Kim started the business in 1985, when her then bofriend, and now husband Ralph urged her to start a jewelry business. «You can’t just start a jewelry business» Kim told him. But he kept encouraging, and start a business is just what she did. Ralph helped to pay all of the bills so Kim could continue to put everything she made back into the business and inventory. 27 years later and the business is more than she ever dreamed of! And she has her husband to thank for that.
