Iacono’s Pizza & Restaurant

Iaconnos is a pillar of Columbus style pizza. People who rate their pizza low are from out of town and obviously don’t get it. Their loss, they probably also root against the Buckeyes. I lived in Chicago, and commuted to NY. Columbus style pizza ranks at the top. deal with it pizza snobs.

Pizza is above average. pizza buffet is a good value. customer service on order-​out is dismal. less than 50% accuracy on pizza specifications… but $ 5 discount if they get it wrong! eat-​in food is good but NEVER hot! get it to-​go and heat it yourself!

This is the only place where we will eat pizza. Best in the area. The crust is thin and crispy and the sauce is not too sweet like some other local shops. Nice bar too. Lucas hangout.

Haters gonna hate. There is a lack of choice of restaurants in Muirfield… and that deliver! Iaoconos has saved many a dinner. Delicious!

Excellent! Sweet sauce, crispy crust, cheese, cheese and more cheese! I would definitely recommend this pizza to any Unilocaler. Good family business.

Friendly service and great pizza! Not overly greasy like most chain type pizza restaurants. Reminded me of actual homemade pizza! Can’t wait to try the buffet

here we go again. sitting here listening to the bartender talk about his personal life all the while he has not bothered to offer us drinks menus or a smile. Don’t care who your married to! Do your job. Thank god the pizza still rocks. Love the «old world»! we use to stop by all the time for drinks and pizza. I think we’ll stick to carry out.

WORST customer service in the world! Was told by the manger she didn’t care if we ever came back after we had an issue with food and a previous time before. I could not believe the way the manager talked to me! She tried to say we had an issue every time we came in! SO NOT TRUE! We in the past year have eaten at this place 25 times that I could find on my credit card statement and have only had a few issues here. Heck a month ago we had a party for my grandma here because she loves the place, without any issues! Spending $ 200! So maybe the manager should get her facts straight before she runs her mouth and gets loud in from of other customers. So unprofessional, it’s one thing to pull someone off to the side to talk to them. I guess the owner is fine with running a business like this! I’m not going to lie the food is good when it’s made correct. Or when the bar tender isn’t drinking behind the bar and turning ALL the TV’s off while you are watching a football game! Oh and let me not forget to mention the fact that we could not have carrots with our wings because they were put in the fridge for the night!!! REALLY?! Is this how you run a business? If you look it looks like other negative reviews have been flagged so they don’t show up on here! My guess flagged by the owner or staff. We just recently tried Tommy’s pizza and I would recommend trying this place! And to the owner just remember I might be one person BUT a negative experience is likely to be shared with others more than a positive one! Plus I’m sure your the type that your staff are always correct. Best wishes.

I chose 1 star because zero was not an option. I have been a customer for 30 years on and off, but this visit tonight will be my last. The new owners have discontinued pop corn. Big mistake. Our server was very nice but there is clearly a change in personality. I was there during prime hours on Friday evening and the place was dead. No more than a dozen people in the dining room, where in the past, there would have been a wait to get seated. I am a pizza fanatic. Honestly I suggest that you go to Tommy’s Dublin where the pizza is awesome, and the people are friendly and they appreciate their regular customers.

I feel the majority of the Unilocalers reviewing this establishment have it down pretty well. Three stars and anymore than that and you’re kidding yourself.

Calling here to place an order is probably going to give you a headache.
ME: «Hi, I need to place an order for pickup.»
DUDE: «Ok can I get your phone number?»
ME: *gives phone number*
DUDE: «Can I get your address?»
ME: «Do you need my address for a pickup order?»
DUDE: «Oh… you wanted to pickup an order?»
This incompetence was soon followed by me having to repeat my order not twice… not three times, but FOUR freaking times. How hard is it to remember a Large cheese pizza and Italian Sub?
Apparently… it proves a challenge to the ignoramus working the carry out.
Like others have said. the pizza is average. I actually prefer it cold or after it has sat and congealed. It’s almost like they’d do themselves a favor and not serve it hot, because it comes off as too saucy and cheap.
The subs prove dismal as well. They’d be better baked in the oven, but they’re not… They’re just mostly cold cut unless specified. My husband had the Veal Parmesan sub this last trip and was also not impressed.
Once more. Powell has let me down pizza wise. I’m looking at the reviews here and everyone is touting the pastas and other items on the menu as good. If this is the case and the pizza is crap, then why even put Pizza in their name? They should just go all out as an Italian restaurant.
How people can pack this place out constantly is an absolute mystery to me, because it’s just so under par what good pizza should be. I’ll come back, but not willingly.

This place is really the only place in Shawnee hills for me. Their wings are above average but it’s probably the only thing I like to get. Lots of people like the pizza and of course I would eat it if it was in front of me, but there are better places to go. It’s a good place to hang out and watch a game but only after it clears out a little bit. It can get pretty busy.

If I was reviewing just the pizza, it would be a 0 star place. The Pasta is the highlight here– There egg noodles are very good– Meatballs and Sauce are tasty as well.
Meatball sub is tasty, but I would stay away from there Pizza. If you are looking for a good thin crust in Dublin, Enricos/Luna’s/Tommy’s is your best bet.

Food was good, good pasta and ok salad bar. Food was average at best. Bar area has locals which I’m guessing are nice people but let you know your an outsider at first. Not sure I’m going back.

Still a fan of Iaconno’s. The pizza is good, the food is good, and everyone is friendly. It’s just that I’ve found real East Coast style pizza nearby. Iaconno’s had been the closest, but the dough just wasn’t quite right, and they cut their pizza like a brownie (which should only be done with Sicilian style pizza). But it’s definitely good, and the prices are reasonable.

This is probably the worst food that I’ve ever eaten in any restaurant anywhere. I ordered an Italian Sub and we split a pizza. Both the sub and the pizza was downright awful.
Since I see 5 star reviews of this place, this tells me that I can not rely on Unilocal to provide any indication of what the food will be like in any restaurant.

Good pizza & subs. Reasonable prices. Nice casual place to visit after spending the day at the Zoo.

This is the place for pizzas and subs. Quality ingredients, super nice servers and free popcorn is a hit with all! Great if you just want to sit at the bar, on the patio or at a table with family and friends!
