very clean, peaceful, friendly and very proffesional people. my husband and I are regulars and we enjoy thr foot massage, It covers from A-​Z, and just 24.99. Its amazing. we just got the 1hr full body for 10dlls more and wow, I was in heaven. higly recommend it!

I came here with a local coupon that was $ 20 in cash for a foot massage. That includes feet, upper back, arms, legs, face and head.
I thought the presentation was pretty but they brought me to a room where I sat up in a chair. Massages are always awkward when you first arrive because you don’t know how much clothes to lose. The lady who was massaging me didn’t even ask if I wanted my clothes on or not so she massaged me with them on. Super uncomfortable.
Most of my massage was sitting reclined in a chair. Definitely different, didn’t feel at ease. The final part of my massage for my back she had me lay down on my stomach. I wish she had me lay down for most of it.
The massage itself wasn’t good, she wasn’t strong enough to get my Knotts out.
It’s safe to say I won’t be coming back.

Best body rub around if you want a massage stay away. But if you want a itchy cream rub come and get it.
So sad I pissed 50 dollars just like that for an hour itchy tickle rub and 30 min foot scrub. I felt bad not giving her the suggested $ 15 because she had some what of a routine down.

The massage itself was very good. The lady made us pay prior to the massage and as we were leaving we realized this wasn’t the case for all customers (not quite sure what that was about). The building is cold and I asked if they could put the space heater near us but this request was ignored. Lastly the chair smelled of mildew. I honestly would not come here again when I realized about pre-​paying and that was not the baseline for all customers.

I would not go here again. The staff were friendly. However: unlike other customers they made my friend and I prepay for services. The room was freezing and the towels felt cold and damp. We asked for them to turn on the heater however we were ignored and instead given another damp towel. They were latex gloves which crinkle up during the massage. When we had to flip over we had to smell the damp towels.

This place sucks. I bought my wife a Spa Serenity gift certificate for $ 100 for her birthday. When she went to use it she brought a discount coupon with her which would have saved her $ 10.00. They refused to honor the coupon saying it was not valid with the gift certificate. But I paid $ 100 for a $ 100 gift certificate! I could understand their position if I had paid less than $ 100, but I didn’t. Furthermore, when she asked for a $ 50 massage, she was told she had to use the entire gift certificate in one visit, so she was forced to add a facial which she really didn’t want. Finally, they said the gift certificate could not be used for tipping. What a horrible sub-​standard way to do business. We will never go there again. Needless to say my wife did not enjoy her massage at all because she was so upset with the way they handled the entire business transaction.

This was seriously the worst massage I have ever had! Amy was my therapist and she spent 17minutes of my 1 hour foot massage dumping bucket of water and getting a hot moist towel. I know this cuz I was laying next to a clock watching and waiting.
I frequently go to these types of foot massage places for foot massages, so I know it can be hit or miss, but this was sincerely unacceptable and a crappy massage, if you can even call it a massage. When I left tonight, my back and hip hurt worse than when I arrived from sitting on the very hard uncomfortable massage tables. She did an ok job of rubbing my feet but my back, neck, arms and legs were absolutely pathetic! As I was leaving, I told the woman in the front that this was the worst massage I’ve ever had and her response was «oh, sorry about that» worst massage! Worst customer service ever! I will never go back here!

I went this afternoon for foot reflexology. I wanted to try this place since I had a coupon.
I had the most unpleasant experience with the person at the front desk. She was the most unwelcoming receptionist. She never smiled and said «hi» to me when I walked in. She gruffly led me to the room and called the massage therapist.
The massage therapist was nice and sweet. The massage was average. I tipped her $ 10 as customary.
After the massage, I had to go to the restroom. I asked the massage therapist to throw a bag with leftover food. She must not have understood. When I came out of the restroom, I went straight out the front door. I didn’t have to check out with the front desk since I already paid.
When I was outside and a few yards away, I heard a loud yell «HEY!». I looked back and the person at the front desk was yelling with a scowl and waving the bag that I gave the massage therapist to throw out. I went to get my bag and explained. There was another customer who heard the commotion and she was shaking her head in disgust. I talked to the customer after the incident and she, too, was appalled.
Needless to say, I would never go back again. There are other massage places in the area like Cherry Blossom that has wonderful customer service and foot massage.

Affordable spa but it does not have the fancy ambiance if you are looking for the total spa experience. Request Shelly if you like a firm massage. She was wonderful.
One negative was when I made an appointment, they told me a gratuity was required and she stated an amount that was 25% of the total (one 90 minute massage).

I miss the management that was here when I first started coming here in 2011. Over the years I have become distant with This Location. The consistency in the massage technique has lacked a lot. Starting to feel it’s not worth the drive from Carlsbad anymore. I gave them 2 stars simply because of the friendliness, cleanliness and being able to fit me in last minute. Unfortunately due to the language barrier, the massage I was expecting ended up just being nothing more than barely touch of the skin. Normally when the massage is done right, the bad Toxins can felt leaving the body and your nose will be stuffy. Not tonight. :(I guess I’ll have to find a new place.

I have been here many times for a foot massage over the last three years and every time I leave I wonder why I don’t go back more often! It’s fun to go for a girl’s day out and a great value.

Do it. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. My wife and I came here before going on a date night and so glad we did. We got the 1 hr Chinese herb foot reflexology massage for $ 30. They start off by soaking your feet in warm water in a bucket lined in plastic. Some say its cheesy etc. I look at it as protection. When done they throw it away and put a new one in for the next person. If you have a big foot it may be smushed but you can posistion yourself to where it is.
Now to the massage. First off My wife and I regularly get deep tissue massages so we like a lot of pressure. The lady that did mine had perfect pressure (strong hands.) Started to fall asleep at one point. My wife’s was weak at first but she told the lady and she immediately did it with more pressure. The leg and back massage was good for what little they do since this is a foot massage package. All in all it was worth every penny and my feet were loving me for it.

Just left an amazing 1 hour full body massage from Amy. She is fantastic. I will never go back to paying 80 for a massage at a salon again. Please bring her tip money she is worth a big one. FYI full body massage for a full hour was only 40 :)

Used a 50 $ coupon for 1hr full body and 30 min foot massage. My masseuse was Wendy. She stepped out twice for hot towels but worked the remainder of the 90 min.
Perfect amount of pressure. I actually feel asleep for a few minutes I was so relaxed. The place itself was warm unlike other massage places I’ve been to which are usually colder.
The head massage was not my favorite and the leg massage wasn’t very good but the foot and shoulder massage was excellent.
I had a bruised finger and mentioned it to her when she first came in and she was very mindful and worked around it. I also asked her to work around my knee and she did a good job. I tipped 15 $ because she pretty much worked non stop, was polite, listen to what I wanted and did a great job.
I recommend this place especially with the awesome coupons they offer.

Just got a one hr rose foot reflexology by Amy. I did read a few of the reviews so I went in prepared for anything and hoping for the best. I did spend only $ 30 but this is one of those definite moments where you get what you pay for.
Within the first five minutes of me being there I knew I had probably made a mistake. I was put in the room behind the curtain that was just 5 feet away from the front desk. I could hear customers paying and talking as they were leaving and this was very distracting despite the relaxing music that was playing overhead.
A woman came and put my feet and a bucket that was outlined with a plastic liner and lukewarm water that smelled faintly of Rose. The plastic liner was extremely tacky and the fact that the water wasn’t even hot really bothered me. Still, I really wanted to have a positive experience here so I let these little things slide.
The chair that I was sitting in was actually very comfortable but then I was expected to keep my feet in this bucket of lukewarm water which then made it incredibly uncomfortable for my feet. My toes were crunched and also the fact that the water was gone cold was also uncomfortable. At this point I actually had thoughts about stopping the reflexology altogether and just saying «you know what? this is just NOT going to work for me».
They are smart in the fact that they have you pay for your services before they are actually rendered. I try to close my eyes and tried zoning in on the music because I reminded myself that I deserved to have a relaxing break from my very busy life. With that said, this was not it.
The woman who worked on me seemed to have no passion or love her job at all. She rubs lotion on various parts of my body and a few times I even heard her sigh as if she didn’t want to be there. After about 10 minutes of her just rubbing lotion on me, I insisted on more pressure and I did this politely.
The parts of the massage that I did enjoy where the parts where she rubbed my hands and scalp. Again I so wish there would’ve been more pressure but it was much akin to getting a rub down by a robot. At the end of this reflexology, I was determined to leave no tip because I was not satisfied. That being said, I requested a copy of my receipt and still had of the girl a five dollar tip because she was awkwardly hanging out by the register like a panhandler would.
If you have $ 30 to spend I would highly suggest going to your local pharmacy and investing in some eucalyptus Epson salt. Buy a couple of cheap candles and draw a hot bath. Play some calming music and close your eyes. Just trust that this experience will surpass anything you might get at this supposed spa.
The last thing that I want to say is that the whole time this woman was touching me, I kept wanting to know if she was licensed in anything. I would not believe that she was a licensed masseuse, nor so I think that she has ever even taken a class on reflexology before. I am almost certain that the only pressure point she knew was the way my $ 5 tip felt when it reached the palm of her hand.
Please learn from my experience and don’t go here. Ever.

This was the worst massage I’ve ever had in my life. I asked for the 1 hour deep tissue and it was basically a rub down. She spent a long time just rubbing lotion on me. It was awkward but I did speak up several times. I asked if she could massage harder and she said ok later. But, she never did. She would leave the room and come back. With all the options we have in San Diego, do not go here. Worst in business!

I asked for a 1 hour full body massage and got a 1 hour rub down instead. The name should be changed from spa serenity to rub down serenity. What a waste of my time and money!

Prices are decent. $ 40 for a full body massage. The place is nice and clean, pretty standard. Foot massages are on lazy boy couches on the right and it’s closed off by curtains.
It’s cold in the room so she offered to turn on the heated blank, which was a bonus. The massage was just okay. Hardly any pressure, didn’t even attempt to work out any knots, and her hands were cold… probably from the lack of pressure she was applying. It really felt like she was just putting lotion on me for 60 minutes. I’d come back, but definitely would ask for someone else.

Really great, relaxing/​earthly feeling massage! The minutes went by fast and it was over just like that, i like keeping the oil in my back after though and I don’t know why. My Masseuse was very nice and kept asking how it was and how I was doing and feeling. The pressure was perfect, I am definitely coming back next week for a more intense massage, the deep tissuse!
And also their service was great, One of the reviews say that the rooms were dim, however, in my opinion the rooms were in the correct lighting. The room was relaxing.
After the massage I just felt so much energy and the tension from my body had been reduce!

The $ 30 foot massage is such a wonderful deal! The only negative aspect is that my toes were just a little uncomfortable in the tub as my feet were soaking, but besides that tiny issue, I loved it! I’m kind of picky when it comes to my massages, so this means a lot coming from me!
Positives: great full-​body massage (about half of the time), along with excellent foot reflexology massage. Very good pressure, but not too much. Excellent understanding of body anatomy and pressure points. Focused on the parts of my body that feel the best when massaged: neck, scalp, hands and forearms, feet, shoulders, back.
I actually like not having to strip down for this massage. Just wear some athletic shorts or tights and a t-​shirt or running/​workout top for the best comfort.
Yes, you’re only separated by a curtain from others, so it’s best when it’s not crowded (I went at 2 on a weekday and was the only person), but they usually separate people as much as possible.
In the past, the ticking of the wall clock bothered me, but this time a fan and the peaceful music drowned out the ticking.
My masseuse was Wendy today, but the other times I’ve been here (about eight times in all), the masseur/​masseuse was just as good.
Don’t expect a conversation, as they generally only speak Mandarin (except the receptionist). But it’s great if you want to practice, «Xie Xie»!
