Pump It Up

This place is supposed to open at 0900. Made a reservation mid-​week and prepaid for a 0940 open jump on Saturday and no one showed up to open the facility until 1015. Everyone else that came got to jump for free and the manager gave us a free open jump voucher for future use.
Another family waiting with us was hosting a birthday party at 1020. Pretty sure she was more irritated than me and I’m betting she gave the manager and/​or owner a verbal beating.
The actual play experience was just what we were hoping for for our 2 year-​old and his 3.5 year-​old buddy. They loved it and were exhausted afterwards. It’s a bit difficult for the smaller 2 – 4 year-​old kids to do the slides and climb independently, so parents better be prepared to participate with the younger ones. We only experienced one room due to a party, so not sure what the other rooms might have.
Will up to four stars in the future if we don’t run into anymore time issues with the facility.

Went with my 2 year old. It is cool the adult can also be there with them. There are two rooms and for some reason we could only use one at a time. Perhaps it was due to the birthday party but I feel I should’ve been informed of that when I had called earlier. For the price we should be able to access everything the whole time. Other than that my only complaint is it was super hot in there! I won’t be back for at least another year when my son can enjoy all they have to offer as the obstacle course is for older children with a super steep climb at the end to go down the slide.

Was lost and could not find the place, Jil on the phone was super cool and helpful. Upon arrival Greg checked us in and even let the kids start early… Totally worth the drive from Clairmont. We were 2 boys and 2 girls ages 6 to 9 … Great fun. We will be back. Thanks Pump it Up! Love. E

This place is great to have a kids birthday. And super fun that the adults can jump too. Love that there are hosts to set up your room and interact with the kids in the jumpy areas. Minus one star for not being allowed to bring in your own food or sodas for the adults (you can only bring in dry packaged food and water). That’s where it can get EXPENSIVE! $ 18 for a large pizza that looks half the size of a Costco pizza. Now if it WAS Costco pizzas that they brought in, I wouldn’t mind paying $ 18 for it! Minus last star for only one room for the «go glow». Granted… It was on special so it wasn’t $ 50… But even $ 25 is a little pricey to turn off lights. And again only in one room. I can say that I would definitely come back for the open jumps for my son, but don’t think I would have another party here. Just too pricey. Staff and owners are super nice though.

Super friendly staff. The kid had a great time there. The fan works fine but for a real hot day I am thinking AC may be necessary.

My daughter’s friend had a bday party here. What a blast! Well run and fun. Typical bday party stuff but great fun and kids get tons of exercise running around.

From start to finish they did a great job to help us run our 4 year-old’s birthday party. The party planning, follow up and confirmation was great, the party assistance/​hosting provided was great, the food was great, and the facilities were great. No complaints at all. The young staff may be less experienced, but they made up for it by their friendly and very helpful demeanor.

We just celebrated my daughter’s 8^th birthday — her and 25 of her friends! Pump It Up did an outstanding job managing all the kids and making it easy on us as the parents! They are like a machine — from the pre party planning, managing the kids, setting up the room, cutting the cake and serving the kids — they have it down to a science! If u r looking for a way to celebrate ur child’s birthday with low stress and hassle on ur part go here! Staff was all very friendly, professional and efficient! The host who supervised in the bouncie rooms was great with kids! The kids loved it! We did the glow room also and I think that was their favorite! Well worth the money for large party groups. I would recommend.

Great way to tire out the kids! The facility is clean and spacious and whether you’re attending a party or just going in for the free jump time, your kids will have a blast. Adults can even go in with them (encouraged if they are little!) and have some playful bonding time. For a price, you can host a hassle-​free birthday party for your kid and friends. I personally think it might be a bit expensive, but if you have the means, the food and party set up is unbeatable. They take care of everything.

Was there for a birthday party. The kids seemed to have fun, but felt that the environment was not entirely conducive for kids. Hate the stuffiness of the rooms. Plus, there must be a ton of germs all around the area… not really sure how comprehensive their cleaning policy is. This being cold and flu season makes me think the whole concept is just as bad an idea as a cruise ship where everyone’s germs get passed along.
Just so you all know, my son got sick with a mild fever the same weekend after attending.
The catered food was fruit juice, pizza, hummus, and some fruits. Would have liked to see some options for veggies (most important food group). All edible, but certainly uninspired and quite forgettable fare.
It seems like a good place to throw a party if you don’t want to worry about planning logistics, but it has some drawbacks.

We love pump it up. We go for pop it playtime frequently and have thrown a few birthday parties there — always a great time. The staff is energetic, Daniel has been our host several times and he is great! All their staff is really, never been disappointed! We plan to throw our daughter’s party there for years to come.

You guys rock! We just had my sons bday party here on a Saturday afternoon in March 2014. I can’t say enough about this place. Staff was wonderful, friendly and very organized. The party went really smoothly and the party assistants made it completely stress free for me and my husband. Such a great option for a party host that wants to actually hang out/​visit with friends while staff does all the set up! It is kind of expensive but I don’t mind paying a little more money for a very enjoyable, stress free party. Facility is very clean and nice. Keep up the good work! I’ll be back! Oh… And Pump it up is also a great place for drop in bounce time.

I recently had my son’s birthday party here. We’ve been to parties at two other Pump It Up locations in the area, and had a party past year at a competitor, but had never been here before. What a pleasant surprise we had!
This place and head and shoulders above the others — everyone was friendly and helpful, and professional from start to end. The party attendant was great and really got involved with the kids. I loved the rotation aspect — spending the whole time in one room and can old, so changing rooms was great.
I would recommend this location over any of the others.

My 5 year old and I attended a birthday party at this Pump It Up recently… it was so much fun. Our party coordinator was so much fun. He played with the kids, he was super organized and kept the party going.
I would defiantly recommend this place for a party… the kids loved it.

W celebrated my daughter’s 6^th birthday here this past weekend. Katie was the working manager that day and she was great. Carl was our party host who did an awesome job getting our group of kids pumped up and organized as we switched rooms during our party. I added on the Glow Experience to the party package and that was a fun hit! Amanda was my personal helper who assisted with the party set up and she was outstanding. Very personable with myself and the kids, always willing to help out with anything needed. For example, I realized I was short on the party favor bags. Amanda to my rescue. Before I even had to ask she ran to the front desk and got me some extra (added costs were included in my bill after the party).
Working with kids in this type of business I can see how crazy it can get. What do you expect with a huge building housing astro jumps, neon lights, top 40 hits blaring in the sound system with cakes, ice cream and pizza in the mix? Katie, Amanda and Carl did a wonderful job with my girl’s birthday party.

I don’t have kids so this review better mean something to anyone that is goaded to come here (to support friend’s kid or your nephews/​nieces, etc etc).
I begged not to come here but was forced to by sis who was throwing her boys a bday shindig here.
If you’ve ever questioned about wanting to have kids or not, COME HERE. B/​c sure as sheyit, you will want to get your tubes tied or whatever snipped (if you’re a dude I guess).
There’s nothing more awesome and wonderful (note sarcasm here) than seeing a bunch of little kids running around, acting loud and crazy.
Pump it Up is pretty much like Chuck e Cheese but w/​no arcade games or creepy life sized puppets. They offer large inflatables in two semi large warehouse areas where kids can play.
You can rent out the facility for I think 1.5 hours for a bday party. I think that’ll cost you about $ 395 (?) or so. Something ridiculous. But sis says that this place is über popular and all the parents scramble to book a weekend so she was quite fortunate to land that specific date. Well… yeah, um…

I think that was my exact response to her.
They give you about 20 – 30 minutes per warehouse to play. Shoes off, socks required. The first room smelled like old people’s feet. Not sure what that means.
After you play in first warehouse, the nice (what appeared to be) 13yo host/​leader (he reminded me of Linguini from Ratatouille) lines all the kids up and leads them into warehouse #2.
Both play rooms are different and consists of a variety of inflatables. Some inflatables are more challenging than others (you have to climb stuff, work thru maze, climb more stuff… yeah…wtf right). My youngest nephew (under 3yo) had a hard time w/​most of the inflatables but had a fun time regardless.
Linguini, our host, was awesome. I was surprised. He was helpful, enthusiastic, and prompt w/​the schedule. And the party room where the food/​cake/​balloons were set up for the bday boys looked amazing (I think sis and cousin decorated the room for the most part though). But the young girls working that room were just as helpful and sweet. I was blown away.
You cannot bring your own food for the party — I believe they make you order from them (which they in return order from an outside vendor). But surprisingly, the pizza and salad were pretty dang tasty. Not sure how much sis paid additional for food.
I only stayed about 52 min. But I actually took the time afterwards to personally thank Linguini for his great service.
So if you can afford to throw your brats (ahem…I mean kids) a bday party here, then it’s worth it.

I came here for my friend’s son’s 7^th Birthday party. I had an awesome time racing with my friends on these giant inflatables and boxing with huge gloves. They were very organized in moving you from room to room. There are only 2 rooms with inflatables and the last room is where you get to eat! You have to buy food from them and the food was ok. I had 3 slices of pizza and some of the fruits and veggies plates.

My kids have attended a zillion parties here and it is always a «bounce» up of their spirits. Lucky for us that they are so tired afterwords that they go right to bed when we come home.
