Welcome to the Oil Changer on Yelp. Oil Changer, Inc. (the «Company») and its affiliates have developed an automotive fast oil change concept based on convenience, quality, and service. Each of the company’s no-​appointment-​necessary services is provided on a drive-​through basis. The first Oil Changer facility was opened in Northern California in September 1986 and the organization currently consists of 34 facilities in the regions of San Francisco, San Diego, and Fresno. All Oil Changer facilities are located in major California markets because of the tremendous opportunities for growth provided by these markets. Drove in for an oil Change. I added the fuel injection cleaning service after they talked me in doing that work. Drove out my perfect condition Kia Sorento with the check engine light on for the first time ever !!! I don’t know what they did to trigger that. Had to go back to them twice to fix the issue to no avail. The new guy there had no clue what to do (Steven). Now my son, who has to go back to summer school at UC Santa Cruz next day, had to either drive late after we repair it at a real mechanics shop or postpone his trip a day and miss getting first day of school !! If doing other than oil change, I suggest to rethink it. They are good only for oil change.

These guys are fantastic!!! I took my car there today for an oil change on a recommendation from a place that I take my car to for other repairs. They were friendly, fast, efficient, and their priced incredibly fair. They were so great that I went ahead and brought our other car back later in the day! And it was a bonus that I didn’t have to get out of the car while they worked! We will definitely be using them for future oil changes!

Great shop with fair prices and fast thorough service and friendly, professional staff. I like the way they check all your lights for you during the process as well as tires and pressures and fluid levels, etc. Also like being able to stay in the vehicle instead of a waiting room. My first time today but this is a straight up operation that I intend on continuing with for oil changes.

why did I not know about this place sooner! I’m always hesitant about getting an oil change cause I don’t want to sit in a lobby with my wild 3 year old but at Oil Changers I didn’t even get out of the car! Ty was great. I would definitely recommended this place. see you guys again in about 4000 miles :)

Been coming to them ForEver, always great service, conversation. All my kids cars were taken there. These guys are why I still have my 1994 Honda Accord and 2003 Tahoe are on the road. Engines are in great shape. I do keep up on All recommended manufactures suggestions. They always tell me what will be recommended on next oil change and if it can wait. No surprises. Johnny has been the manager for the last 8 years…(sorry if I am off but pretty sure at least 8). Awesome care totally trust them to take care of me and my vehicles. Just wish Unilocal had a «Gold Star» these guys would totally have one!!!

Stephen and Joe are amazing. First time getting my VW oil changed. Very friendly and informative. Check in on Unilocal get 5.00 off sure. Almost all synthetic oil and now I know where the oil is.
It wasn’t busy. Right in and out at night.

Love this place. Been coming here for years. Best place to come and get an oil change. Everyone that works here is super kind and very efficient. They always recommend what needs to be done on your car to make your car run and last longer but they are never pushy. Love love this place.

I’ve been using this Oil Changers since moving to San Diego. I immediately noticed the military-​like precision the crew employs while going through the mental checklist of steps to service my vehicle.
This is a «no hassles» place for automotive services. I stopped in once thinking it was time to change the oil, but was told it was too soon. So they checked and topped off everything at no charge… now that’s service.
They will keep my business and hopefully others will take my suggestions as well.

Went to these guys today and had a fabulous experience. I was out of there in under 25 minutes and they took excellent care of me. They were professional, courteous, kind and very informative. I can’t say enough about their service, the two gentlemen who helped me worked effortlessly together and did a phenomenal job. I will be back they have gained a new customer for sure!

As one of Female driver who has no clue in car, I found this place is worry free and one stop oil change place. Just put car there n the professionals will keep updated what’s going on with my car and confirmed I ready for road trip in the end. Especially Hugo is awesome, he is the guy who you can rely on, not just telling you what’s wrong with ur car, but also prove you the solution and deliver it in most efficient and affordable way. I’ve used Oil Changers several times and am always impressed and happy with the job done. Yesterday I took my car in for an oil change before a long road trip and the guys there did a thorough check of my car. When they said my car’s rear differential fluid was horrendous, as were my injectors, I was skeptical. I approved the changes, the job was done, and I left thinking maybe I fell for a scam. Sure enough, on my drive in to work this morning, my car is driving like a brand new vehicle again! Thanks guys!!! I appreciate you not taking this lack-​of-​car-​knowledge girl for a ride!!!

I usually go to Jiffy Lube in Poway. A few days ago I stopped by Oil Changer to get a 3,000 mile service. After pulling into the bay, the technician revealed that several of my bolts were missing on the skid plate covering my oil bolt!!! Well, guess Jiffy Lube never put them back on? I’m guessing sloppy work?
John replaced the bolts and got my car in good working order. That’s the kind of service that keeps you coming back. Thanks guys!

Wow!!! Super honest place it’s refreshing.
I was handing them the money to do my own oil change and they noticed a manufacture defect leak on my car and said they feel bad to take my money because the defect requires me to empty the oil so I would be changing my oil twice
Any other business would have change the oil to make money off of me
If you’re debating where to go to get your oil changed go here don’t think twice

I dread every time my car is due for an oil change– they always try to over charge me and/​or do a sloppy job. I just started working in the area and was on the hunt for a new oil change place. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Oil Changers 5-​star reviews on Unilocal!and thought I’d give it a try. I showed up a little before noon without an appointment and was immediately directed inside the garage. The guys that helped me (Jack, Johnny, and a younger guy) were all super friendly and extremely efficient. I was in and out of their in 15min tops! They brought to my attention some maintenance items to keep on my radar, but did not push absolutely anything. I will definitely be coming back to this location.
