If I could rate MFG with ZERO stars I would. This has been the most frustrating process imaginable. My wife and I have excellent credit and provided everything needed for a very simple, straightforward refi yet again and again MFG has held up the process to close. We began the process THREE MONTHS ago! A refi should not take more than 3 – 4 weeks. Every step of the way it has been excuse after excuse. Things that should take days take weeks and we are now not even going to close with them. I very rarely leave Unilocal reviews and even then they are always when companies/​restaurants do a very good job but in this case I would be doing everyone a disservice by not advising you to stay away from Manhattan Financial Group. Frankly, it concerns me that they have every piece of financial info about me with the lack of professionalism I’ve experienced in working with them. If you are working with a broker, as was the case in our situation, make sure to ask which lender (s) they use and research those lenders. It may save you a huge hassle. Good luck!

I just noticed Corby B’s review and everything he mentioned happened to us as well. Original rate lock expired, charged for appraisal, rates went up after the lock and round and round we went.

I wish I can give a zero star for this rating. please be aware, they locked your rate, they took your money for appraisal fee, and they made up tons of reason for delaying in closing. and at the end, they forced to cancel your rate lock and your loan.
This is the worst lender ever to deal with. Do not trust a word they say!

Submit refinance loan to this lender. Can not close the loan after 3 weeks of loan signing.
Normally it takes 3 – 4 days to close and fund the loan after signing. So better watch out.
