Gateway Physical Therapy

This is my 2^nd time using Gateway and the whole staff is just excellent. Staring with Jessica, at the front desk, to Jonathan, my PT. They are caring and totally efficient. I highly recommend the place and look forward to using them in the future.

I was referred to Gateway by my internal medicine MD. Jonathan, my physical therapist at Gateway, prescribed exercises that helped greatly with my balance and back problems. I will continue to do them in the future. Everyone there is helpful and friendly, and the facility is clean and well equipped.

They are awesome! The therapists are very personable and friendly. They got me in last minute even though it was a Friday. This is the first place ive felt comfortable and actually wanted to come back. Will definitely be continuing my therapy here!

I have been bringing my elderly dad here for a few months now and never have they disappointed us with the treatment. Not only the actual therapy treatment but also the smiles and awesome customer service they give us. Every single person has an awesome and welcoming attitude and makes him feel comfortable and at home. The owner humbly takes his time to walk around and get to know each of his patients and is very easily approachable. The staff is very knowledgeable and patient. Kudos to Bob, Jonathan, Jessica, Ashley, Christina, Ben, Nickele for making this office run so smoothly. When one is finished with their complete assignment they give a «graduation» present. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone

The team at Gateway Physical Therapy is awesome!!! I am grateful to have found Gateway after having wasted nearly two months at another site. I’ve made fantastic progress after a double knee replacement and complications from an old back injury and ready to go walking on the beach and snorkeling on our upcoming vacation. The welcoming demeanor, professionalism, encouragement and physical environment together with a personalized rehab plan tailored to my individualized needs has made my recovery all that I hoped for.

I have had physical therapy two other times and nothing can compare to the quality of Gateway. The staff is stellar, the environment is clean and runs on time every time. I had Jonathan as my therapist (post total knee replacement) and he was fabulous. The assistants, Ashley and Nina, are as nice as they can be and very helpful. I am in the Home Care industry and will recommend Gateway PT to anyone I meet in the future. From start to finish it was a totally positive experience.

I came here because of a major headache caused by TMJ and neck problems. I worked with Jonathan because he has some specialized training in TMJ. Before coming here I was helpless and out of control of the pain. After working on it here, I finally got my pain from like a 7 all day to a
3 or 4 all day (still have it), which is much more manageable. Jonathan was very knowledgeable, gentle and calm which made me feel comfortable in a bad situation. I still do the stretches I was assigned here and it helps me live life. I definitely recommend!

I can’t say enough about Gateway. My Dr sent me to another physical therapy center and my time there was a total waste. He suggested that I try Gateway and my hip problem was corrected in a few weeks. I later had 2 additional problems (a shoulder problem and a fractured ankle) and thanks to their care, I feel like a new person. The therapists are outstanding and their assistants are extremely friendly and compassionate. The atmosphere is comfortable, friendly and caring. I would recommend Gateway to anyone who is dealing with any pain or discomfort.

I have had back problems for 21 years. I have seen just about every kind of practitioner you can imagine: Physicians (Osteopaths and MDs), Chiropractors, Homeopaths, Physical Therapists, Acupuncturists, Massage Therapists… you name it. I would say my pain level is between a 2 – 3 on most average-​good days and every several months or so I have a flare up which puts me on my back for several days where if I move I would be at an 8 – 10 pain level. Over the years, I have been hospitalized and given injections. I have been faithful and not so faithful about exercise. I have tried pain meds, muscle relaxers, and homeopathic potions, and regular OTC meds.
I pretty much had given up hope of ever being out of pain. Until now.
I cannot say enough about how comprehensive and profound the care at Gateway PT has been so far. I have never experienced anything in the PT world or in the alternative medicine world that has given me this much relief so quickly, but more importantly hope for (and a strong belief that I will receive) long-​term relief.
Their staff (Jonathan is my therapist — but all of them I have seen are great) is amazing (and I don’t use that word lightly) and their equipment is top-​notch. Some of their equipment I have never even seen before, and I have seen a lot of equipment!
I strongly believe that patients (myself included) have a pretty high rate of «non-​compliance» when it comes to exercises at home, so the fact that Gateway «makes» the patient do these exercises right in the clinic each visit is what I believe will push me to the next level.
I could go on and on, but I will just stop here and let you all go find out for yourselves how great this place is.
(One last side note, I have just learned that you no longer need a Doctor’s prescription to see a Physical Therapist so it is much easier for those of us that are tired of nagging our Docs to see someone — or don’t want the hassle of an extra appointment just to get a script — great bonus!)

I’m a 46 year old male, who’s had severe back problems on and off for the last 29 years. Other than my back, I am extremely healthy. I get to a point where I can not even walk for a few days about 5 – 6 times a year. I’ve been to several chiropractors and other «specialists». I’ve had x-​rays and MRIs and everything else. The last time I went to urgent care (in Pomerado which is outstanding as well), I was referred to Gateway Therapy by the on-​call doctor.
I went, but had absolutely no belief that they could help me. I had assumed that my pain was because of a degnerative disc (and was told that). The therapist at Gateway quickly assessed that the problem was more muscular/​nerve than bone-​to-​bone and gave me several exercises and stretches to do. Of course, I assumed that the therapy would not work, but continued to go. After three visits, my back began to feel better and after a few more visits, the constant, nagging pain that I’ve had for almost 30 years went away.
I ocassionally have to go back (every four months or so), but I do not have to live with the pain every day any longer.
I HIGHLY recommend Gateway Therapy Center, especially for those of you who have given up hope of «being fixed» and believe you have to live with back pain the rest of your life.
You don’t.
