A Touch of Class Auto Care

This is a great place for car washes, oil change, smog test… and almost anything automotive. I have taken my cars here for all the above for many years. They do a fast and effective job… I never feel that I am wasting time waiting. Rafi, Larson, Tony and the others always have a smile and greet me by name… it is so refreshing in these times when even your bank doesn’t seem to know you. They are pleasant, hard-​working guys who also have a good sense of humor. It makes getting your car taken care of a positive experience instead of a chore.

Came in about a month ago for oil change and car wash, upgraded so I could have the interior cleaned as well… about $ 50 for this. Come to collect my car at the end to first notice my front seat was not even vacumed then as I go to scoot the passenger seat back to normal positioning I found that the latch had been broke. I am completely understanding about mistakes and know things happen but I was argued with and spoken to with such rudeness I could not believe. I was back and forth arguing with multiple guys, never once did I even get an appology. My philosophy is you break it, you fix it! Or compensate to be fixed… but nope. Nothing. They «couldn’t» fix it and would not refund me any amount. After speaking to pretty much every employee there and what I imagine to be the manager, Saber gave me a business card with an email address to write my complant to with guarantee that I would get a response and be taken care of. Well a month later and 2 emails and no response. So here is my reply: DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE TOUCH YOUR CAR!

Sorry excuse for a car wash. In two of last three washes the interior (dashboard, consoles, etc.) were not cleaned or wiped down. It wasn’t until I left and had the sunlight shining on these surfaces that I noticed that they were still covered with dust. Where is the quality control person to perform a final check?
If this is indicative of the work and attention to detail, I will also not use this place to perform smog checks as well.

Fifth time is not a charm. There are still my dog’s beach paw prints in the back and spots on the door. Disappointing.

Never again…4^th time ive been here and 4^th time IS NOT A CHARM… EVERY TIME my car is the same, just wet… lol half ass job and watch out cuz they’ll do add ons without telling you to up the price. All the poor reviews are true!!!

I should have read the reviews first before coming here for a carwash. Horrible, half-​assed service. I paid for the $ 29.99 service and it was barely cleaned. Windows still had bugs on them, and dried dirt on the outside of the doors. They did not wipe the seats or interior as listed. The rear floor mats were not vacuumed and I brought it back to show the «greeter», and he made some sort of excuse. He didn’t vacume them in the first place, as I looked at what was needed before I had it cleaned and it was exactly the same.
Don’t waste your time or money. Don’t come here.

They got their act together! Spoke to Saber about last visit and he made sure they took their time and cleaned everything as promised.

Paid 30 $ and when I got it back they had to re wash, vacuum and wipe the whole car down but they were very nice and helpful when I pointed out the problems I had. 2^nd time around the car was good but the vacuuming still sucked! Better but not the best.

Can’t believe only 2 stars. I’ve been going there for years. You can’t beat the price with a coupon. $ 10 for a complete car wash. The people are awesome. If there is anything that isn’t right they make it right immediately. A little issue due to remodeling but up in running great. Don’t know much about there other service but like I said you can’t beat there car washes.

I’m only giving them a second star because they are washing the inside part of my windows… which I thought came standard with a car wash… but silly me, I was wrong!
The people who work here have TERRIBLE people skills… the guy who «greets» you when you pull up can’t even manage to put a fake smile on… I pre bought 3 car washes for 33 $ which is a pretty good deal I suppose… so I’m only here to use them up
The car wash itself is satisfactory, only because I wait so long in between care washes, anything seems good lol
But seriously, go somewhere else, their lobby isn’t even air conditioned or anything to make up for the less than impressive customer service

If you want your windshield to be scratched with a visible crack, you should go to this place. I took my car in for oil change and car wash and the car was return to me with about a 6inch scratch on the windshield right I front of drivers seat. I got in my driver seat and was welcomed by a very obvious scratch (6 to 7 inches). I ran back to let the guys know and I was told that the scratch was already there and that I just didn’t see it as my windshield was dirty. This was a complete lie. How can you not see a visible scratch staring at your face while driving. My twelve year old daughter sat in the car and said but mom“there was no scratch when we drove in”. How do you explain to a child that some
People have no integrity of character. I drove away feeling beaten up with bunch of lies. I will never go back to this awful place.

Detail where it’s supposed to be $ 129 but I got it on the Groupon for $ 60 I put a photo in their back of the seats in the backseat that was supposed to get for $ 129?

I paid $ 19.99 for a car wash. When my car was handed back to me, you notice I didn’t say «FINISHED», I was shocked.
1. Still had beach sand on my rug
2. Brown water dryed under my rear window
3. Bugs all over, my license plate never wiped, my hood (very visible) covered
4. No armorall, inside or out, no wheel treatment, no wax
After asking to speak to a manager, he never looked at my car, just yelled for the youngest kid on staff to grab a spray bottle and rag and go to my car
He was a very respectful, hard working kid. It would have taken him an hour to spot clean my car with his spray bottle. I said thank you to him and told him to tell his manager I would never be back!

How are these guys still open?! I should have believed the two stars when I saw them. I should sue them for how many scratches they put on my car, I am so mad that I ever bought that groupon, I contacted groupon like they said I should and requested my money back.
PLEASE DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THEM!
So I called them to explain that hey, this is crap, he puts me on hold and then hangs up! not only did I go back and show them everything they did wrong and all my scratches but I even washed my car by hand myself over there and demanded my money back. Unbelievable, not only were they rude, they do not know anything about running a legit business! They put my brand new car thru a machine! And not to mention it came back to be with 20 more scratches. Worst car wash, worst reputation, worst experience ever. Groupon I want my money back and more because that was horrible! If there were negative stars I would have gave them a negative 5 star.

Save your time and money and go some place else. I went today for an oil change with my own oil and filter since I only trust Mobile 1. They have a banner hanging for $ 24.99 for an oil change and car wash (using their oil and filter) but they wanted to charge me $ 39.99 for only the oil change. They said it was a surcharge my supplying my own items. Nope, sorry, I’m out of here. I won’t give this place a dime.
Another thing that blew my mind is that when I pulled up and walked around to the passenger side of the car, one of the workers jumps in my car and gets the milage. I kicked him out of the car since there was not an agreement of what I wanted done.
This place seems very shady. I refuse to spend my consumer dollars at this establishment.

I bought a groupon for this place and failed to look at Unilocal beforehand. First Mistake.
I took my car in to get it washed after work and I had a good first impression. I felt confident that they would do a good job bc they had a lot of people working on the cars and I came at 11am (not busy at all). I slipped $ 2 into the tip jar and felt good when I saw 4 people thoroughly drying the car. In my eagerness to get home, I did NOT look over my car before driving off. Second Mistake!!!
I ended up contacting Groupon to request my money back, moments after I gave my car a once over. This is what I wrote:

I left the shop without really looking at my car until I got home. When I looked at my car, just 15 minutes later, I saw that my car was still dirty! There were greasy smears on the sides of the car & there was bug poop everywhere. Also, they failed to vacuum the trunk and even the seats. I am very disappointed to report that this place is not Classy at all and they should change their name to «A Touch of Gross».
+1 star for: having a clean bathroom, where staff actually does rounds to check it.
+1 star for: having a spacious waiting area, where you can chill while they mess up your car.

On 06/​10/​2015 I Had an almost $ 100.00 Oil Change ! … Drove off and drove the car for over Three Weeks and suddenly yesterday (07/​6/​2015.) i was coming out to an Intersection in Ocean Beach, the car started vapor fuming from the driver side! I pulled into the curb and shot off the Engine! Popped the hood, and saw the OIL Cap. sitting on the Master Cylinder (been squeezed all that time under the hood!). The overflow of the oil has caused the Three Radiator hoses connection (Tee Connect?) to melt and dislocate Two hoses causing the vapeur fumes to come out and loosing all coolant fluids Not to mention the Oil!
I called «Bashar» (manager) to explain my stranded situation on the road, and what caused it! Took my number and said he would call be back… never did! Called in again, to have them bring someone to fix or Tow or do somethin’… they did not want to admit, … And that SO ashame of them ! A simple Sorry ! It was a human mistake! And All would have been resolved… (moral of the story!)
The car is back on the road with a cost of over $ 125 !!! Thanks to my brother who helped me put it back together! The following day, I stopped by the Oil Service mgr to make my point! The guys gang up on me and still denied it and did not want to take responsability… They All were looking at me as if I was rippin’ them off!. The «Rip Off» is them and the business they are runing! Please stay away from that Cheap Car Wash station in Poway, CA! Never Again in that place… Eventually they will rip you off!

Should’ve stayed clear of this place after seeing the 2-​star average reviews but it was close to home and the price was ok. We paid 19.99 upfront for the wash, wax and interior vacuum/​wipe down. They said it would take about 30 minutes so we went to take a stroll.
Upon returning, the car had been washed but upon closer inspection, we found tree sap still stuck to the car/​windshield and the interior had been hastily vacuumed. Nothing was wiped down. I took a wipe and did that myself at home. Not going back.

First time I came here was because I remembered seeing the sign for an oil change and free carwash. The oil change price was a bit high but I thought okay why not. When I got my car back my rims were still black and I thought well it was a free wash maybe it’s really stuck on there. A week later went to Costco and ran it through the carwash and my rims where spotless.
I came back today bc I had a coupon for $ 10 off oil change and wash and I said why not. But it’s off their higher priced oil change which would still cost $ 5 more than the regular. I added the interior vacuuming for $ 6 but I have a feeling I’m going to be really disappointed still. Sitting here rethinking my decision already.

I wish I could give them 0 stars because this place is just a wreck. Honestly, I went in for what seemed like the best of both worlds, a break job and car wash before work. I didn’t get my breaks done after paying for a $ 20 estimate and then paid another $ 10 substandard car wash.
You wonder why I didn’t get the pads? Well, apparently pads cost $ 150 from them, but they don’t tell you this ahead of time.
Here’s my final ten cents. If you go here and fall for this, you know who told you so. They should not be operational.
